Thanks for the video. I read and heard complaints about noise and overheating for this computer. I don't know much about hardware and have very little interest despite working in 3D graphics. I need a new computer for work as my laptop is dying and becoming overheated too often. I feel like it's time to get a mini PC instead, I really wanna get this one but don't wanna be running into overheating issues again. Would you recommend this?
Been doing SFF for a lot of years now and these results are typical. The CPU heat is always the biggest issue. The heat sinks are always insufficient due to size constraints. Its strange that none of these big companies make something original, like a computer that uses the case as a heat sink or uses one giant heatsink for the CPU and GPU. You would think someone like Zotack would be able to pull that off.
Streacom has the case you are thinking about, I think it's called the maxd or something like that, it used to be just one half of the case was the heatsink, but they just released one with the entire case as a heatsink and ssff

Cheers.
Things have come a long way since this video was released. Looking to buy a 7940HS mini-PC
Good thing is you should mention is it has hdmi 2.1 which will give you hdr Dolby vision on a LG OLED tv
Do you make any DIY videos of these mini PCs?
in the future can you test RDR1, and GOW3 on RPCS3?
Imagine this beast next to the Xbox and Playstation on a 4k tv setup... Nice!
Nice review! Just one small question: is the GPU card removable? Is there a PCIe slot that I could use for something else (need to use an accelerator card) and the display to be connected only to the onboard GPU? Thanks in advance!
In other news ... ETA Prime mounts Magnus One to the ceiling completing his 100 systems per household room setup
Why have you disabled the integrated graphics card just to show us the performance tab in task manager without it?
Thanks for RDR 2 benchmark.
Suggestion : In your next video with this PC, please try the PS3 version of The Force Unleashed
Love the video, but have to ask. What key caps are you running on that board? Look like DSA, but could be very wrong.
Nice little unit. Kind of a neat nuc module variant. Can't wait to see a 12th gen module so we can swap in something like a 12400f.
$2,600!? Jesus! Where are they selling this thing....the sharper image?
Where is the emulation video, try the updated version of the zotac Zbox Magnus One ERP74070 with a 4070
The 3060 i5 version is much better price not a lot of people play 4k most play 1080 maybe 1440
ETA did you do anything particular or special to get Panzer Dragoon to even load on Cxbx cause mine gets to the "Presented by Sega logo" and freezes any solutions?
An Ultra Magnus mini PC? I can't deal with this right now!
(If you get it, you get it.)
How about the PSU fan noise? anything?
Just once could you review the performance of a mini PC , with HQPlayer audio software?
Been doing SFF for a lot of years now and these results are typical. The CPU heat is always the biggest issue. The heat sinks are always insufficient due to size constraints. Its strange that none of these big companies make something original, like a computer that uses the case as a heat sink or uses one giant heatsink for the CPU and GPU. You would think someone like Zotack would be able to pull that off.
Streacom has the case you are thinking about, I think it's called the maxd or something like that, it used to be just one half of the case was the heatsink, but they just released one with the entire case as a heatsink and ssff
Like what zotac are doing but good luck finding their mini pc range in the UK.
You should try gran turismo 5 or 6 in rpcs3 testing its the real deal when it comes to requirements to emulate it
Love that beast.
More analogue pocket videos? Roms?
Please do emulation test on the new 12100F !!
Can you test it on batocera frontend please ? I bought a mini pc lately and the mother board is a custom made like in this computer and batocera do not recognize my nvidia gtx 1650 gpu. Well i can make it recognize it by batocera but as soon i try to launch any games it completely freeze . A developper told me its probably the motherboard model that is not supported by batocera . And i cant make any research on it because my mother board cant be identified by any software or dos command...so this computer is interresting but the custom mother board make me think about tha. Good review my friend.
Wow!! That's impressive! Nice video. Thank you. 🙂
Is it loud / hot / for only web browsing / RUclips ? No gaming or video editing. Thanks
Does it have a Kensington security socket for a Kensington security cable?
what is that keyboard you are showing near please? link to buy ? thanks
I was looking for a solution like this one.. thanks
I hope they continue this design with next year's rtx4070
If this is around 2080ti
Im not surprised that Lovelace 4070 be around 3080ti-3090ti performance
Btw 70c and 250w total watts use is really efficient for this 4k60 beast
I wish I knew about these small form facter prebuilts when I bought my gaming PC last year ugh this would be great for when I have to travel fot work for example would easily fit in my bag with everything else
For PS3 emulation and games from 2019, would a GTX1660 be enough for med/high to high/ultra? I mainly just play D3, Mirror's Edge, and Ashes on my old 1080Ti setup. Is the 1660 a good upgrade or should I save up for a 3060 or 2080Ti?
Please test switch and Wii U gaming on this!
Do Zotac make an AMD variant ? Could a 5600x instead of a 10700 give you better performance and less watt/heat ?
Wow I can’t afford that but it does look amazing!
Does anyone know how this compares to the msi trident 3 11 gen i7? Just curious. ETA please run Android Emulation. (Bluestacks) shadowing legends I'm considering a nvidia shield replacement for TV consumption
How good is the EN laptop GPU version? It has a 4070 now
The price is $2665 on Amazon to save you guys the time.
Can you review the new chuwi larkbox X im considering it
hey what keyboard is that?
I searched for ages to buy one of these but couldn't find a retailer in the USA that had one or was even able to order one. More vaporware.
Hello, can you mount this thing, horizontally? Thank you
I have a modest 12 Litre sized self built system with i7 10700 and RTX 3070 and it`s very decent at 4K ............................ another of my systems has i5 10600 ( 6 core 12 thread ) and a 3060ti in it (almost as fast as 1070) in my experience the 10600 is no bottleneck compared to the i7 and so .................................... in this case don`t bother with the higher temps of the i7 and go for the more controlled temps of the i5 instead, it should be enough
Hey eta prime can u help me?
