Never make fun of someone's passion, because they could hit you with a no spin knife throw to the face from 11 meters away. Great video and amazing skill!
😂😂😂👌
Holy guacamoly
i stuck a 9'' boot knife an inch above a guys head from 40 feet away , joel practises, i don't . i also sliced an apple perfectly down the core in midair.
@@carmineredd1198 weird flex 💪... but alright haha!!!
Shut up and practice.
I'm 70 but used to practice 5 hours everyday when I was a young man then I started shooting competition archery and that was the love of my life. We have a wonderful walking outdoor range in Missouri and I still shoot once a week 🎯
Hello sir I'm 38 with some disabilities issues who keep me from time to time from moving too much around, just got into knife throwing cause... It seems relaxing and also needs good coordinations between your head and muscles movements. I get the corny comments, humor and I'm fine with it. Everyone deal with his life differently I used to be an alpine chasseur/mountain squad maybe is the correct English translation ?) in another life 6 years ago if you can believe it. Then well, life changes in all kind of ways , you have to found new things to challenge yourself with the limitations you're have.
Glad I found your comment, and everyone who read this follow your passions or desires. No matter what people think of it.
✌️
Great video. I love the messages in it. I’m fifty years old and just started but I’m passionate like a teenager about throwing. I appreciate you posting videos for us all. Thank you
You are so so good. It is a pleasure to watch you throw…a champion at the absolute pinnacle of the sport. Beautiful to watch you
Knife throwing is growing quickly in the UK now, thanks to being trapped at home and RUclipsrs very generously sharing their knowledge and experience.
Learning knives gave me a new lease of life, unfortunately in Britain having anything sharper than a spoon can get quite illegal
Glad to hear. I know what you mean!
In the film, doesn't the sheriff of Nottingham threaten to cut out Robin Hood's heart with a spoon...
Danish law says, no blade over 7 cm, no lock, only folding and must not be able to open with one hand. But you can carry beers in bottles and as many, as you can handle. Who wouldn't prefere a 5 cm locked blade in the gut to two smashed bottles in the face.. And you can have all the screw drivers and other functionable tools all over your house, so there are always ways to have fun, if you want to.
Don't worry, the criminals follow the same rules (sarc). Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing it with us.
@@CONEHEADDK wow that’s kinda ridiculous here you can open carry or conceal carry fire arms and walk around with a katana if you wanted to.
I've been doing this for over 20 years and had no idea it was an actual sport, I just like throwing pointy objects at stuff. My favorite is throwing screwdrivers into scrap car doors, I'm going to do more research into this!! Thank You!!
As soon as two men do the same, there is "a sport". :D
I like throwing small saw blades dear god once you get a good spin on it it's frickin amazing, flung one so hard it went halfway in the tree
You can be world champion screw driver in scrap car door throwing! Believe in yourself! 😉😄
How log does it takes to bei good as throwing a knife in 11 meter target?
It depends on the person ,practice an patience learn to rid your mind of negativity. dont get upset with yourself. Remember half the battle is a mind fuck. You want to develop no minded throwing which is its own skill in it self. Also don't advance to quickly or it will take longer.. leaning how to hold a knife for no spin can be tricky I was 5 yrs old when I learned of no spin it was long time to learn to throw ten ft with 11 in throwing spike life is crazy that over 35 yrs ago now lol
I've always loved the art of throwing knives, although I could not hit an elephant in its behind at 3 metres. But the message you brought across was clear and powerful. This may seem like a novelty but I see this the same as Kyudo - a tradition of about 2000 years! Passion is the key word here.
Also, isn't it delicious how masters of different martial arts coalesce on "victory over oneself" and a regal kind of humility in the advice they choose to relate?
Adam celadin is a legend and this guy put together a super cool video I've thrown over the years on and off there's always so much to learn. No spin, depending on your knives can be not suited or weighted right
Awesome Video Champ !!!
Thanks! What is a good camera to film this kind of material? Do you use Gopro?
@@joelholopainen6865 Go for GoPro 7 bro its really dope for our stuff !!!
Adam, got it, thanks!
Wow. What a level of skill, with many tools, styles and distances. Great message.
YOU ARE A BAD ASS SON! Thank you man. Love your content.
Very well-done video! I'm blown away by how far no spin can go and still stick! I'm seriously considering getting into it these days. I've been watching a lotta Adam Celadin and was pleased to discover you next. Thank you for giving me the confidence I need to start something new at a later age because of how young this sport is
You bloody ninja, that's so cool! Rad vigeo brother, keep up them killer moves 🤠🇫🇮
suddenly i feel like my handgun could not be drawn fast enough if this man was the aggressor
I'm 57 and want to be you when I grow up! Great video and great job!
Awesome! I'm a new subscriber, now! Thank you for sharing.
The final phrase really did it for me.
I wish you all the best!
Great Video, very calm and Strong. Thank you
Never make fun of someone’s passions because that’s what saves them from the world. I love that one.
Awesome man loved the video !! Very deep makes me wanna go outside and throw right now and find myself
The thing you said about something changes, in the way you throw and you have to start again, is so true!.
i totaly agree with what you said at the beginning about having to constanty change the way you throw, i have only been throwing for a few years using only no spin and a little half spin and i have had to reinvent my style to many times to count. great video
No blocks of wood were hurt in this video! Awesome skills. I would circle the log trying to hit it.
0:03 That's some anime stuff right there!
Absolutely amazing your accuracy and speed just blows my mind great video thanks for sharing👍🏼🤩
I've talked to a lot of my friends and family about throwing knives, you are the first person that has the same outlook on training like I do. Great job man
Glad to hear!!
Practice makes perfect! I admire you and the skills you have aquired.👋👍🤗
I've tried throwing but you're miles ahead of even the better guys I've practiced with. Wicked cool.
Im glad I saw your video, I didnt think of it as special to do a no spin throw, as a kid on a farm we had large 4-5 inch nails, I flattened out the point into a arrow looking shape, and I threw my nails at a tree for weeks until I was able to throw them with a no spin, after I perfected my throw I soon lost interest and didnt do it again.
Well I will have to say I have never tried no spin throwing but have always thrown knives and Hatchets, I am going to try this. Jeff and Tammi here from Ohio USA. Thanks for sharing and Nice meeting you. Great video.
Good luck to you, young man. Thanks for sharing your journey.Excellent video.
Just started throwing I’m 66 years old and it is an awesome good time.
Glad that you found this great sport!
The longest recorded combat kill with a thrown knife was 87 feet, across a snowfield with a bayonet. WWII by a native American soldier by the name of Skeeter Vaughan aka Grey Otter. Hot the German sentry just below the helmet line. He went on to be a renowned exhibition knife and axe thrower after the war.
Such excellent skills you have developed over time 🥂👏👏
I used to work construction before I messed my arm up. I got really good at sticking screwdrivers and throwing a framing hammer. Be interesting to see someone make a sport out of that.
Always interesting hearing about the odd skills people randomly pick up working jobs.
I developed an uncanny ability to catch small-ish dropping objects after working at a grocery store for 4ish years as a teen. I'm also pretty good at underhand tossing light-ish objects of all kinds of shapes.
@@FiltyIncognito you should play corn hole
Maaan. Sorta looks like throwing a change up in baseball…Rad, gonna have to try this.
The Avengers need to sign this guy for when Hawkeye reaches retirement age...
He brings a knife to a gun fight.
He's the real John Wick!
I need a new set of knives. I've been using knives meant for survival. I had to relearn how to throw again because they were never made for this lol
I love doing this stuff. I used to go to a tattoo artist I know house, and we would throw knives. We would drink a few beers, and hit a few buds. Then it was off to the plywood in the backyard.
Knuckleball with a knife. I’m impressed
Officer: Drop the knife
This guy:
He WILL bring knives to a gunfight
Great motivation Joel TY, looking good!!! 😎
awesome video and great throwing
when i was a kid we used to use darts like this, using different releases. i wish i had known about this back then, brilliant.
Dude, amazing skill, you make it look easy. But for regular people who have never thrown a knife on target, it's VERY hard.
There is something called a scandinavian ninja after all...!!! Makes me want to take a shot..
I used to think no spin throwing was fake…I still can only spin throw long distance and only short with no spin…keep it up, it’s awesome!
Your video made me want to join the community and start chucking some metal.
Your perspective on things and deep analysis of self would make you a good Forex trader Joel
I guess we all know that eventually you’ll have to fight super villains …
I was thinking he'd make at least a supporting comic book character.
We all know this guy is a professional knife thrower, but a pair of scissors and a fork that's bad ass!
That is some badass shit for sure.
Pretty awesome man, didn’t know this community existed. Now I gotta practice! =)
I would kill to hire this guy as my personal trainer.
my throw is different for almost every knife i think. i have a generic one that i use to try and throw all sorts of stupid crap though. learning to throw a baseball bat like a knife is what improved me i think though. every knife felt a lot easier after throwing the baseball bat for two weeks. i actually never once got it to stick, but by the time i was good enough to guarantee the business end struck my target, swords and machetes and everything just want to fly on their own it seems like. i think it's probably more difficult to do a good throw with a really lightweight knife without a few throw-away tries. for me anyway.
Thankyou for that advice
Me: [Fails to drop butter knife in slot in dishwasher I've used a hundred times]
This guy:
I didn't know there were championships for this. I learned this technique in case I ever need to use it in an emergency. But I do it a lot just because it is fun.
👍Прелестно ! 🇷🇺
Adam from 🇨🇿 👍👍👍for me the best
I used to make ninja throwing stars from two triangles and a rivet- i loved it... but man you should play darts, you;d be like Eric Bristo
very impressive!!
Excellent knife I have been throwing since a child
Celadin is incredible. Not taking anything away from you.
WOW !!!
Again something interesting here in Finland, that I didn't know 👏🤘😎
Him:"No spin champion!"
Knife: very clearly spins the whole way to the target.
I know what you mean. However, in official comps around the world these are still defined as no spin throws. Knife can’t be thrown like a dart.
A no spin throw can be more developed though. Check out my new straighter throws from this vid: ruclips.net/video/Hkv1qEJTB1U/видео.html
I want him on my dart team!
Yeah in a sense of world geometry having mastery over knife throwing ISN'T irrelevant. For self-defense being able to snap a knife is a great and classic sting. It could even be used for art or a conversation aid
Nicely done 💪
Super 👍😄✋
I guarantee, nobody would laugh at my love for no spin throwing, with me there
Damn this guy got amazing skill, especially long range
I need to try this.... amazing
Very impressive!
Aussies and Canadians should watch.
Legend has it he has never lost an argument
That is amazing! I've never been able to throw blades.
I threw knives when I was a kid. I practiced some archery. Threw shurikens. Was very adept with a wrist rocket slingshot. Shot pistols and rifles. Throwing knives is by far the most difficult of those projectile skills.
Never have seen no spin before. Must do this. Thanks
Awesome mate
55ft crazy I have a herd time getting enough power for 20ft. And at that sometimes the blade hits the ground before the target. Makes me want to practice. Thanks for sharing.
You are an inspiration
Got to give this a try, I kno a pal who works at a range in London where they throw axes and swords an stuff, but I love this mindfull aspect
Sword throwing is epic.
I come back to this video every once and a while 😎❤️🙅🏻
The Whole Throwing Community Is Special ❤️
Fun with knives with Billy Corgan.
HOLLYWOOD here is your next action Star.
Reminds me of a Lars great job
Its crazy that he is that accurate cause he has a different throwing style I play baseball an you should be pointing your shoulder at your target but he has a open shoulder throw I guess it might be a little different with knives but throwing techniques are all the same he is really good
When no one has guns someday this guy will be unstoppable.
what about the guy with the bow?
@@edx21x that’s me I build long bows/ recurve bows out of hickory & you’re right it would definitely be the best weapon.
@@Antmanwald0423 well I was just kidding but I guess you would know
Hey man, that's pretty cool!
beautiful bro love it!!

You just inspired me brother 🏋🏻♀️❤️🙏
Nice to know, thanks! :)
This was actually the whole purpose of the video - to inspire others.
Self Defense Officer: You can't use a knife against a gunmen 21 feet or closer.
This Guy: Hold my knife.
I threw a little when I was a lot younger…and I have been a juggler for about 10 yrs or so… no fancy tricks but I can keep a 3 club pattern going…
I gotta get some decent knives when I get home…there is an axe throwing range there as well that ima jump into…
Wow that’s an interesting sport!
Hehehea!!! The scissors!
