Should watch the breakfast TV version of "Apex". Absolutely beautiful to watch, but hilarious when you think about people hearing for the first time like "oh they're lovely!"
General of the Dark Army is a really nice exhibition of all three vocalists.
Fun fact: THe drummer was playing on "Jerry" Can's in this video.
One of the coolest parts of this song for me is how the second guitar solo incorporates the vocal melody into it. It's SO MUSICAL!
I would react to "Abyss" next. It's another official video, but it's sort of a performance video with a fun twist and shows UTA have a good sense of humor.
Northwest Passage is a personal favorite. It’s their rendition of an old Stan Rogers song, sort of an unofficial Canadian anthem, and the music video has Rick and Morty themes.
Love your reactions - great mix of technical expertise and just having fun! My vote for the next UTA reaction would be either "Cleanse the Bloodlines" or "Northwest Passage" (a metal cover of the Stan Rogers folk ballad). But really, any of their songs are a good choice.
Love the ending too It felt like I ran a mile good band always kicking ass need to check out some VOLBEAT ANYTHING by them is good keep rocking

Awesome !! Welcome back to UTA !! Another official video from this era that is cool is "Time Stands Still"... or even earlier "The General of the Dark Army" both are incredible... but after Awakening,the only other video from that album(Apex) is "Cleanse the Bloodlines" which is Epic! (actually that whole album is) Then the album Abyss....Many awesome videos from that...but I know you guys are busy so I won't leave a whole "laundry list"... UTA is such a unique group. They always just come out to just have fun and they are always super friendly. They re-released a song called Apex and re-did it completely acoustic, its called Acoustiplex...if you really want to see the range of their drummer. Its crazy. ;)
They were on tour a couple years ago and came through Orlando. I was bummed because by the time I found out the show was sold out. Been keeping an eye out for another tour 🤘😊🤘

UTA has been on a bit of a break as Brittney and Scott had their first child at the beginning of the year. They just went into the studio to record their next album. Brittney has posted some pics with their adorable daughter from the studio on her Instagram. I would expect the album to come out late 2023/early 2024 with a tour afterwards.
Time Stands Still or their Magnus Opus, Wind that Shapes the Land. No music video for the later so just go with the album version. Unfortunately no good live videos. The few out there are not good representative of how good this band sounds live.

According to guitarist Grant (who does the shrieking vocals; I think the other guitarist does the low growls), Brittney has attempted growling, but she "sounds like a kitten."
