Royalty is not for money.He wants to establish creators rights in our country.if money is motive ,He would have not scored music for so many directors and producers freely. In 1980s,his salary was one lakh,with 40 to50 movies a year,till 1997,imagine his wealth he may create.but to so many people he did it freely. Even this royalty money is assigned to musicians welfare associations,who lost their life due to digitalisation of instruments.
It is a providence that Ms. Ashvini Kaushik received a song "paadasolli kungumam vandhadhamma"by Raja sir to herald that she should go to Raja sir for further progress. A rare event. It is good to see how she has learnt Tamil and converse fluently.

இளையராஜா அவர்களின் குழுவில் பெண் புல்லாங்குழல் வாசிப்பவர் இருந்தார். அலைகள் ஓய்வதில்லை என்ற படத்தில் பல பாடல்களுக்கு அவர் வாசித்து இருக்கிறார்.

இவங்க “ இளையராஜா ஒரு கடவுள் மாதிரி. அவர் கேட்கிற ராயல்டி மிகச் சிறியது. கடவுளுக்கு நாம கொடுக்கும் காணிக்கை மாதிரி தான் நான் அவருக்கு கொடுத்த ராயல்டி தொகை” -ன்னு சொல்லுவது அழகாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது. ஆனாலும் இசைக் கலைஞர்கள், பாடகர்கள் எல்லோர் கிட்டேயும் இளையராஜா ராயல்டி கேட்பது சரியா தவறா என்பது ஒரு சர்ச்சைக்குரிய கேள்விதான்.
