- Ready or not, winter is almost back on our north Idaho homestead. We squeeze in a few final outdoor projects, including tilling our market garden for next year, but projects quickly start moving back inside to more barndominium renovations. No more OSB floors! We put in new hardwood floors downstairs and start work on the girl's room upstairs. Justin makes homemade farmers cheese from raw milk, and we go and get our Christmas tree. #modernhomesteading #IdahoHomestead #movingtoIdaho #smallhomesteadideas #barndominiumrenovations #northidaho #farmerscheese #homesteadDIY #livingoffgrid

Was watching your video on building garden beds.
I made 26 beds with untreated pine, and they lasted nearly ten years, and even then, only the bottoms needed replacing.
Good call, and great multi family homestead.

That’s awesome to hear! 😄 …and thanks for watching and subscribing!
Hey can you add all different kinds of flavor other than just salt to that
Most definitely! Herbs from the garden, and or roasted garlic is amazing! But you can totally get creative with your farmers cheese!
Knee pads?
😂👍
