This honestly helped me with the hissing sound that was coming in the audio while speaking even after adding reaq filters and the built in obs filters,thanks for this dude,appreciate it a lot.
guys if u cant hear anything when u change ur output to default u need to go into settings then into sound then output then choose voicemeeter input that should fix it also if ur mix isnt working go into settings then sound then sound control panel then recording then just start talking and scrolling down until u see one of the options that have green bar thats filling up when u talk, thats supposed to be the input u should be using so just apply that

yeah nah the output option is gone but even when I use the new options correctly it doesn't transfer audio into apps like discord, only the actual voicemeetre program itself (when you press A1 on the left to test your mic)

I'm not entirely sure what most of them do, but for the playback settings just click on the option that says "Voicemeeter Input" and set it to default using the same method he did in the video. for the recording settings, find the option that says "Voicemeeter Out B1", which is basically a new name for the "Voicemeeter Input" for the recording options tab that you see in the video. That mostly worked for me, although it doesn't sound as good as it does in the voicemeeter program when I am testing my voice there. He does this at around 2:56 for reference. Also, the way that I make the quality a little bit better is by using task manager. it's sort of complicated but there's a video by a youtuber named "Kamikaze Dan" that is named "How to fix Voicemeeter microphone crackling in Discord". he explains it pretty well, and that helped to make the quality sound even better for me.
