- SAINT PAUL: Officers following a vehicle, unknown wants, eastbound on I-94 through the Lowry Tunnel. Continued eastbound, exited I-94 at Dale St., where officers boxed the vehicle in. Several occupants fled the vehicle on foot but all were taken into custody a short time later. Officers were searching for a gun that was reportedly tossed onto the Interstate. UPDATE: According to MPD, a silver Mercedes-Benz sedan that had been reported as carjacked was spotted in north Minneapolis and tracked to Saint Paul, where five juveniles fled.

The news is reporting that there were five juveniles involved and that all five are well known to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Auto Theft Unit. One would think that these five would have had a much more difficult time stealing this car if they'd been behind bars for their previous interactions with the ATU.
