Cool video. I haven’t shot a bow since I blew out my shoulder. A yes you can shot 100 yards with a bow. Those who say you can’t really don’t or haven’t spent the time with their bow and tried. I had 7 pins on my bow and with a lung shot and a fixed blade broad-head most definitely can be done and has been. Really miss those days out in the woods with my bows. Today’s modern compound bows are the awesome pieces of high precision equipment. Thanks for the video. Awesome.
I was surprised how easy 100 yard shot was haha, I posted it on the nock on Facebook page and people are shooting coffee cup lids at 100 yards regularly over there
Meathead Marksman yes sir. I was not uncommon for me in the mid 2000s to shoot soda cans at that distance. I grew up with a recurve bow in my hands shooting instinctive. I got my first white tail deer harvest with a 45 lb Bear Kodiak Magnum when I was 12 years old. There are a lot of archery hunters over here and I was surprised to learn that it wasn’t as common over there, unless I misunderstood what you mentioned on this video. After blowing out my shoulder I missed archery so much that I tried my luck with crossbows and was disappointed because it is too much like using a firearm and reminded me of it to the point to where I just stopped shooting them and no longer deer hunt at all. Not the same as a string and a stick.
You aren't shooting 100 yards with that mission. 60 to 70 max you be doing very good.

Nice shooting, cool rangefinding sight. I use a single pin sight as well, axcel accutouch, pretty much the same as the HHA in function. Like the flip flop between archery and rifle. Keep em comin!
The archery stuff is actually a different playlist to the shooting stuff but RUclips's format doesn't seem to differentiate for the viewer unfortunatly. I'm thinking of getting the 3 pin scope for my hha so I can have the best of both worlds
That is so awesome mate thanks for sharing ... I've always liked bow shooting or hunting ...it's a bit expensive same as airgunning so I guess my wife only lets me do one and I picked airgunning lol cheers buddy
Can you please talk about the set up of this sight? I had such a terrible time setting mine up yesterday. Also I noticed that you used the forward mounting holes vs the rear. Why? I ask because I used the rear mounting holes and was not able to get the laser to go down further than the top of the calibration target that it comes with. Thanks in advance

great Vid. have a question can some of those pins be removed? Where I hunt my shots never past 40 yards. so I would only need 20,30 40 yard pins.

Nope, the fx arrow set up shoots a much lighter arrow 15fps slower.

Sight cost more then the bow. You're better off with a hand held rangefinder. A con is if you're drawn back and a blade of grass, a tall weeds in the view. The reading of the rangefinder won't read. So with a hand held you can range around that blade of grass, limb, or clump of weeds. You can't if you're drawn. That deer 🦌, or whatever game you're hunting. That movement just busted you. Also in most states a laser on a bow is illegal. Yes that is considered a laser. Even a scope is illegal in most states on a bow for hunting.

Honestly, not really anything in particular. I just enjoy watching archery videos and I like your Channel. I was very close to getting the Mathews vertix. But I I'm going to get the Matthews vxr instead. I'm actually going to pick it up this weekend. I am super pumped about it🤘.. What all do you hunt where you are at? I live in ohio, mainly I hunt whitetail I was able to get a nice 8 point 4 year old That weighed 190 pounds field dressed.
Do you guys have any 3D courses where you're at? I've been to a couple of them. They are really fun with a couple of buddies.
@@wallacewheeler3754 man I wish the vxr was out when I bought my bow... The 31.5 model is going to be soooooo sweet to shoot. My 32in bear is much more stable then my vertix just cos of the extra 2 inches ata length. Seems like 32in and up is great for stability. We can hunt anything that isn't native and we have a fair amount of non native deer. Just no public land so you have to pay to play
