Amazing, I went to art school 15 years ago for a little while, however I did not follow through and lost what little I learned. Again I paint a little at Christmas but decided to try and keep going. Hello Soraya, I only recently discovered your fantastic sponge painting technique and the brilliant results of your highly skilled approach. I am attempting to learn from your tutorials as I would love to emulate your lovely style of painting, particularly sea and skyscapes, in a more impressionistic way. However, I am really battling at this early stage. But as you say - it is only paint and can be painted over many times adding more layers to the eventual finished work. I find that layering correctly is one of the most difficult functions in painting but it's what makes a great painting, the depth.
