Now here's a band who are just plain good fun, and are quite good at taking other band's tunes and improving them. There's been Ding!, Warriors of the World (no mean feat to do a Manowar song better than Manowar) and now this one. More axe-waving, flagon-swilling, shield-banging Viking Metal enjoyment. A must for the playlist. My Score: Very Good 4*

I love how heavy the music gets in the middle to the end of this song. This is one of the heavier songs that I have heard you all create, and I love it. This is one of my favorite new songs you guys have done. I love your guys' music, and I can't wait to see more awesome music and songs you guys create. Finde es gut, weil ich Feuerschwanz liebe, finde das Original und vor allem das bekannte Cover als Trio noch besser! Muss das hier noch ein paar Mal hören, bis ich sagen kann, ob es mir richtig gut gefällt, oder zu weit weg vom Original ist.

Mega Cover, immer wieder beeindruckend wie ihr euren eigenen Style reinbringt. Persönlich mag ich den Gesang langsamer, so bekommen die Texte mehr Emotionen und Kraft, aber das ist wie gesagt meine persönliche Meinung. Vielleicht kommt ja noch ein eine weitere (Epic) Variante :). Eventuell sieht man sich auf dem Jamboree. Macht weiter so!

And yes this is a great cover version of an amazing song about danish (northern Germany), and Norwegian and Swedish vikings. Since Denmark was the cradle of Viking's and is a Germanic tribe, FEUERSCHWANZ have just as much Viking blood as we have here in Denmark... so prost to my German brothers.

The general tune remains, but the rhythm sounds distinct and the vocals are quite different from Gavin's original one.
