So great to see you back Jason. 3 years ago when I first got into magic after never owning a deck of cards, I watched all your videos. And as I progressed w my card sleight of hand/card magic I continued to watch everything you posted. These days I go out and perform at local restaurants after I get off work. Thanks for the video Jason. Oh, he definitely did time-lapse video. He's super disciplined and spent a whole hour closing his hand. The real trick is the preparation. We depends...just in case. Did he use them? We'll never know. 😁

I never get frustrated when spectators give me the most outlandish guess possible. It means they have nothing, and they're grasping at straws. I once did an ace assembly at a party, and the only explanation they could come up with - after much deliberation - was that I had cut secret panels in someone else's table.

Jason, are you still not able to upload Fool Us videos. I see others uploading.
Still not able to... maybe the videos you see are NOT the full continuous act, but rather little snippets of 5 seconds broken apart? Or... you're seeing the actual magician who performed posting the video on their own channel? I'm not aware of anyone is regularly posting fool us reactions where they have a big chunk of the performance uninterrupted. I know ramsay did it once for daortiz, but they probably just allowed him specifically.

1:09 Just a guess, but I think he has the chopstick pressed between his left forearm and the back of his left thumb. Notice how he keeps his left thumb bent backward the entire start of the trick and then pulls the stick from behind his left thumb. He's doing a very good job hiding it from the camera though.

JASON, the spectator (whose attitude you didn't like) Julius dein performed his trick for looks a lot like professional soccer player Sergio Ramos ( who plays for Paris Saint-Germain). Do you know if it was him?

@@BillHustonPodcast I would feel a little bad to publicly name the move he was doing in his performance here :) But a double lift is a great place to get started in learning card magic. :)
@@JasonParkerMagic It's OK! Magician's Code. I get it 🙂 I sort of have an idea, even if I don't know the name of the move, or the inventor. But i think it's cool how magicians always try to honor the inventor of various techniques. I've learned of so many new (old) magicians (like Dy Vernon, whom Doug Conn always mentions) this way.
Why do you prefer to live abroad. Is it for work or service? Just curious.

@@JasonParkerMagic What about seeing your family. My parents are elderly...so I kinda have to be around. Otherwise, I'd live in Cairo. Or, really Giza.
@@ericpohlman5131 Yeah that's a tough call... a personal thing. As for me, my parents are alive and well in Texas, and have relatives living nearby. So I'm ok to be a satellite floating off in orbit. But I do talk to them quite often actually.
That first one was really hard to figure out… at first I thought it could have been hidden in a way behind his forearm and hand, but the way he revealed it, there was no way to hide it or bring it out at an angle. My only guess is that the two black ends are able to come together and the object extends like a telescopic staff. The video quality is poor, and you can kind of see that the object looks like it has a seem that spirals around it. Regardless, it was well performed
Yeah for sure, bit sad that perspective magic has to be one of the worst things to come out of the modern art.

haha yeah... well kinda wanted to mention it since I've been slow in publishing new videos, so people could understand a little why.... but also don't want to into too much detail. I don't think people like hearing about other people's medical problems... GENERALLY speaking. Especially when the topic of this channel is about magic. (it's probably the wrong forum to discuss medical stuff)
@Jason ParkerOK. I understand not wanting to get in to the specifics, but I wonder how many others got a little scared. You could have added, " but everything is ok." Um,... is everything ok.
@@MyLazyLizards Everything is 90% ok. Before it was 50% ok. So that's an improvement. It's just a weird issue that doesn't have a super clear cut answer, and will require a little trial and error. But yeah... now I feel much better! :)
There’s a valve under the candle. His left was turning the flame off. The black table cloth covered the plywood notched opening, allowing the candle to be moved to the center.
