  • I took Capt Wyatt out in a new Tiara C44 with Volvo Penta's IPS system yesterday. I pulled it off the dock. Told him about the system for 2 minutes then cut him loose.

Awesome technology! I bet that is great when there is "nautical" weather at the docks too!

Looks easy from this training guide. Thank you.

It appears that anyone with some training could dock a vessel on their own. Amazing

What the smallest boat this application can go on?

Now that was impressive, and it looked so easy too. I saw your review on the 53 is that the same ie the engine size is irrelevant ?

The 53 has much more power. It's the same but things happen quicker. I can teach you to dock the 44 in under a hour. The 53 takes 2 hours

Hey Ben, so if you are running this boat solo, and you are docking and activate the dynamic positioning system, it will hold the boat in place while you hop on the dock and do your lines? Even in a strong wind? Does it drift from position a foot or two or does it just really stay in place? I'm thinking of a tight busy dock with lots of traffic and strong winds. Cheers.

You need to add a drone to this video, just watching Captain fantastic gets old after about two minutes and people leave like I’m about to do

annual haul out,? maintenance expenses ? lots of complicated moving parts sitting in the saltwater 24-7. Im really not convinced that spending more time learning how to drive a simple conventional shaft drive is not still the best answer. ??
