When OLR is placed before Line Contactor, whole line current passes through its contacts and then enters delta circuit. So its setting is 1.5*line current(6Amp)= 9 amp ie 10amp
This are normally used in industry for practical purpose. You can consider these as thumb rule. But these factors may vary a bit according to application.
Aur dekho aye bhi logical hai... fuse blow out karne se pehle overload relay operate karna chahiye na.
Isliye relay 90% & fuse 150%. Got it???

This is like thumb rule... Normally this multiplying factors are used for practical purpose. But this factors may vary a bit according to application.

As You explained the OLR current setting shoul be as per WYE connection. But Motor is going to run on DELTA connection. During the running condition Because of LOW setting range between 3.1 - 3.2 A.
Will it not trip early 🤔?
I mean if motor is continuously running on WYE connection, setting is OK.
But if it is going to RUN on DELTA connection why setting accordingly WYE.

As usual , you always use the key concept to demonstrate anything , so that answer to your question is line current since the OLR is no more part of the delta loop this way .

Sir , One thing is only Pending from Star-Delta Series of Starter which ""Current Rating of all the 3 Contactors" & this may please of course be taken for a dedicated video .
But DG AVR & kilowatts , Amperes drawn by induction motor while being operated at a frequency lower than the rated though VFD : These 2 you had committed a long back to take up which are also pending .
