    I know how hard it is to try to make videos and run a business. Most people don't understand how much time it takes to film and then edit all the video. Trying to find a good balance takes time and trial and error. Just keep the content flowin bud and we will be here..lol...Cant wait to see the rest of this project.

      It sure is brother, very time consuming but it has been so worth it! Figuring out the balance is key, still working on that...LOL. Thanks as always for the feedback and plenty more to come! ✌

    Looking good! You're filling in your back area nicely compared to a few seasons ago when you had a postage stamp back yard! I actually can't wait to see the finished oasis ha. 9-hole practice area

    I can't wait to watch the 2024 season brother! Dont worry too much about posting videos weekly. You'll figure out the groove. Just let your channel grow naturally and keep on doing what you've been doing man. I really enjoy the style of your videos and how you teach and educate us on the trade. You are very open to feedback which is a great trait to have.

      Thanks for the comment bro! It is a tough balance for sure but the support from you all no matter the upload schedule is very cool. I love making the videos as much as I love building the hardscapes, been a super fun journey. ✌

    You know you're doing something right when you are able to have a previous customer hire you to come back and tackle a large job like this one. Looks like another great project and look forward to seeing the artistic side come to life.... Great job thus far...

      I have a (2A / 1C "Hoisting" License) Not all states require it, but here in Massachusetts, it is required.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper

      Great question, I love the small business that I have right now. I worked at a few larger companies and they are so mentally and physically draining... Not to mention all the problems, day in and day out.... Gets old after awhile. Keeping it small allows you to be efficient and much less stressed. I don't care about the money these bigger companies make, I am in this industry because I love it, not because I want to be rich. However, I do plan on growing for sure. I would like to have a 4-5 man company with a few trucks and machines. I don't want to be a business man, I want to build hardscapes. LOL.

      Good choice. I’m in the same boat. Just my brother and I flipping houses. He gets paid weekly and I cover all his expenses like food and travel. I tried the bigger crew but way more issues and less profit. I buy houses cash from savings and do all work our selves. Only work 6 months a year. Keep up the good work and content.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  6 месяцев назад

      @@hpain6261 That's awesome, sounds like a great way to make a living. I would love to flip a few houses down the road... But yes, I totally agree, bigger crew = more problems and more expensive unless you are lucky enough to get a solid crew who work good together naturally. But that is very hard to find...

    What’s your opinion on using block from like Lowe’s or Home Depot? Where I am we have a place called Menards and they have blocks that I like. The brand is MM Concrete. Will those be good? Thanks!

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  6 месяцев назад +1

      I would say it depends on the application and what specific blocks you are talking about. I typically would not recommend any products from those stores simply because the concrete is not as strong as these commercial grade products from the bigger name manufacturers. So if you are building say a retaining wall that will be holding back a good amount of pressure, I would not use product from those stores. But if it is more of a visual wall that won't hold back much pressure, than using those products will be just fine.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  6 месяцев назад +1

      I just looked at MM Concretes website actually... It looks like they make some pretty solid products compared to what I usually see at Home Depot or Lowes. I have never been to a Menards...

    • @matthewrozumialski8196
      @matthewrozumialski8196 6 месяцев назад

      @@TheChristianHardscaper that’s awesome! Menards is in the Midwest. Great place, much better than Lowe’s or Home Depot, but they have the pattern of block I want and it’s a good price. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t garbage block lol

      @@TheChristianHardscaper oh okay! That’s great to know. I am planing on building a 20x20 patio. Just an outdoor patio off the house. So those should be good from MM concrete?
