Braking distance increases quadratically with speed. The brakes work just fine. You have to brake sooner than you normally would because the car is so fast. The turning is also fine. Again, you have to slow down or you will be asking the tires to grip beyond what they are physically capable of. I think this car handles great and people are just underestimating how much sooner you will need to brake compared to other cars. Also be sure to use TCS (just like with most real hypercars).
This isn't a VGT, it's a Porsche concept car, just like 917 Living Legend. PD just somehow got the permission to add these 2 existing Porsche concepts to the game, like Ivory Tower got the permission to add Bugatti concept cars to The Crew 2. It's really easy to deal with bad cars; just treat it as "Hard difficulty" or "Challenge". You get used to it and maybe even start to think the car isn't bad to begin with. The car is distinctive enough, I mean the sound is definitely unique. I don't play GT7 but from what I've seen it seems Porsche VGT is faster because of better brakes and cornering ability, though this car is undoubtedly faster in the straight line.
I would not agree on the 'hard difficulty' experience because their driving experience doesn't match the power numbers. Group 3 or GT3s are really rewarding to be driven at the limit, the Porsche VGTs have to be carried into and around every corner before you get on the power and zoom out. It's like an engine swap in the wrong chassis but you have no options to tune it for better handling.
@@DoNuT_1985 Essentially what I meant, forget about realism and driving experience when driving these and just focus on how to tackle the car. This is what I did with some cars in Assetto Corsa, like the Toyota Supra tuned car. It's awful and doesn't feel like a race car at all but I stop caring about it and just treat it how it is. It's easier with VGT cars because those cars aren't real to begin with. I'm not sure why you expect concept cars meant to become road legal to be anywhere near as good as GT3 around corner. Besides, there are cars like Tomahawk X which is beyond any race car, then you have the laser-powered car and VGT versions of Gr 1s that are also above any race cars. You just have to look at what the manufacturer's trying to do, are they trying to be more realistic with their VGTs or not. (Just a reminder, Mission X is not a VGT) That said, I didn't disagree that this Porsche Mission X car is quite underwhelming for a car supposed to be the fastest road car in Nordschleife.
Does sound similar, maybe not as bad as the Porsche VGT cars they already have in GT7. I absolutely hated that I had to do the VGT menu with one of those because the tracks were fast with long straights and the other Porsches always pulled me back when using one of the "lesser" VGT cars like the BMW (which is fun to drive, though). So, I was forced to use those but not enjoying it at all with understeer and abysmal brakes.
@@aarondirks6661right they’re not even accurate to the real cars. Obviously this isn’t even out yet but there’s zero chance it would ever be produced without enough range to do a lap of the ring.
It's not bad, it's just unwieldy to drive properly since it accellerates as fast as a rocket ship and there's literally no tire compound that can withstand that torque

Fr, people be jumping to conclusions most of the time

I like that outlook. You’re right about the VGT, that was my bad. The car isn’t terrible, it’s just not desirable for the GT7 community :)

I suppose this was more of a collectors choice than one from a racer

Nice looking but I hate the lack of engine noise from electric. It's like fries with out salt just blaa. Another great video ❤
I tried the Tesla at LeMans and didn't finish a lap the battery died. What's the point
Thank you!
That is very useless. Weird they didn’t adjust that for EV’s

I see them add this and then wait 10 years to add the production version, like they did with the 918...
The Skoda has the best sound of the EVs in my opinion
Fun, but useless, horrible brakes, heavy and twitchy
Yeah handling brakes and traccion is horrible
RWD 1300 hp electric car? No thanks. *Way* too much power and torque to go through two tyres that aren't F1 slicks.
EV cars are so lame
give us more iconic cares and MORE current cars
Exactly, like how isn’t there a single m5 or any new Mercedes/ Audi?
It’s shit because I need a LSD
hello
Hello
Stupid car. No one wants this or wanted this. We want new tracks or new GR.3 cars or sum. They taking a piss at this point
it’s orrible to drive
