This song kicked my ass! Its 4 minutes of holding down a very difficult and fast texas shuffle groove at 164BPM with few breaks to come up for air! I spent a couple months woodshedding this tune and played it well over 200 times to get to this point.

I recently started playing with a country/blues band and have been working on the Texas Shuffle. No easy task! 2 months ago I started with SRV's Pride and Joy, which was a good and manageable start. But La Grange is the holy grail of uptempo Texas shuffles so its been my goal to master.
This is my first foray into the 'southern swing' and its really fun and challenging at the same time - I had to rewire my brain to learn this groove, (especially snapping the backbeat out of thin air!) so I hope you enjoy it.
