A very useful video! Thanks!
Good stuff! Thanks
That roof needed torn out! I guarantee you, there is wood rot throughout that entire roof!
If you add a bit of fast dry reducer, the paint would dry a lot faster and it wouldn't clog as often. Also, run the paint through a filter. The screen on the sprayer isn't fine enough. I'll be painting my barn and shop next year, so thanx for the video.
The videos are a good refresher of the cost of projects and how to do it better! Thanks for the reducer idea!
Do you have to prime with Kilz2 if you already have paint on the metal roof before applying the oil topcoat?
Have a 3 year old steel roof. The roof is green and want to repaint it black. Is there an oil based that can just be painted over a cleaned newer roof?
what is the model of you spray air less Graco? have you tried roof coating elastomeric with the spray paint machine?
Great. What kind of Greco sprayer
Do you have to actually pressure washer twice for applying the second coat of paint?
Li, you talked about the type
Of application not to use on a slanted roof, but what application is ideal for slanted roofs?
everything else...
You used an Acrylic Kilz2 water based primer, under enamel? I don't think so.
Killz2 is latex water based not acrylic
@@wardraven8755 WATER-BASE is my point. Terrible base coat for exterior metal primer. I even use Alkyd base primer for interior seal coats, and good for a base over old oil or alkyd paint when converting to water base paint.
@@wardraven8755 vinyl latex paint sucks.
