- In this video, I talk about whether or not it is likely that a Survivor: First Boots season will happen anytime soon. I also go through each first boot so far and discuss whether or not I think they would return in a hypothetical First Boot season.

They could cast her sister since she was out first in SJDS but then Natalie actually plays and pretends to be her sister. So you have 19 first boots and 1 secret winner.
Survivor: Lost Chances is what I would call it.
Maybe could consist of some of the best first - third boots so they have a bigger selection of people.
Love the name.
My idea would be players that didn't survive their first tribal. So you get your Francesquas but also those players who would have been the first boot if their team had lost the first IC.
You'd also get Chris Noble back
Or just 'Pre-Jury' boots as again, more choice but still keeping in some of the original point.

It would probably happen tbh, if no player pisses off the majority or doesn't seem too weak physically compared to the others. People want easy votes, and being voted out first twice is a good enough reason to vote her out first a third time. They would think "she has part of a story by being the first boot twice. Let's just finish her story by being the first boot thrice".
Reem also stated she wanted to come back on Reddit during an AMA.

well eg jacob derwin was voted out in his first tribal council (as before he was sent to ghost island)... personaly id love to see him in contention

No way. Varner ruined his reputation after outing Zeke so production are pretty much done with him.

Pulse_Spit Fire there is a MAJOR difference in being a Survivor villain than just being a genuine villain. A Survivor villain orchestrates blindsides, votes out close allies, etc. What Varner did is just wrong doesn’t fall in the category of being a Survivor villain.

I'd love to see an all pre merge boots seaon. That opens up the casting pool but allows people like so reem and pat to come back.
If they feel the need to only have first boots back, they could do a mixed season, fans vs first boots, and have a tribe of 10.that could work
The fans part I feel like they'd include if production couldn't pull in all the 1st boots they needed.

I mean, it worked when they were desperate the first time 'cause of people like Erik and Natalie (and absolute iconic queen with the best story line on all of survivor, Mary) so it might work again with crazy icons like Wendy Jo.

A pre-merge season would be the best chance for something like this happening. I would want Molly and Chelsea back from IoI.

They should make a season with all pre mergers. There are so many robbed players.
Quite a bit of people get robbed of playing really well but get cut right before merge or even the first vote out into merge.
Hunter (S4) and Brendan (S36) were the two biggest lost chances. Those two would have become all stars if they had made merge in their season

i think a season with pre-merge boots would be a better idea bc the casting pool would be wayyyy bigger and there's so many good players that could be on it, especially from more recent seasons since it's becoming more common for threats to be voted out early
What they really should do, since a "first boot season" is very unlikely, at least do a season with people who were the first three voted off/eliminated. Doing it that way helps balance the diversity since its mostly women who were voted off first. And the first tribal council should have two voted off first at the same time!
If there were a first boot season though, I think Francesca would be at high risk of being first boot yet again. This is everybody else's second chance but it's her third chance. Everyone would see that as unfair and get rid of her

Hatch approves of this idea. Look Many winners and favorites where almost first boots so luck is a factor.
It’s an interesting possibility for a new season because you’ve said so yourself even in the rank the winners video that players who did really well were obvious first boots IF they had lost the immunity challenge so it’s not completely true that a season of all first boots would be terrible

Jonathan Libby: I think he'd come back by a hair. If they do a first boots season. Jonathan is the real first boot of this season so he'd probably be the one in the casting pool.

So, excluding Jonny Fairplay and Vytas, we only have twelve men to choose from - Peter Harkey, John Raymond, Ryan Aiken, Brook Geraghey, Jim Lynch, Sekou Bunch, Chicken Morris, Zane Knight, David Samson, Darnell Hamilton, Pat Cusack, and Ronnie Bardah, and thirteen if you were to include Jonathan Libby. Jim Lynch is by far very unlikely, so right off the bat, we're down to 12 men, which means 10 have to say yes for a 20 person season and 9 if they go for an 18 person season.
And I couldn't see why they couldn't cast both Jessica Peet & Pat Cusack for this, of course Pat has more of a narrative, they were both first boots in their own way, same with Jolanda, Wanda, & Jonathan.
And I'm not sure Wendy Jo would agree to return.
I would want Sonja on a First Boot season for the same reason people wanted Richard on WaW, because she was the first person ever on Survivor to be voted out. Obviously age is the biggest factor, but it wasn’t, I think Jeff would definitely try to get her, and I think Sonja would, if age weren’t an issue.

perhaps to increase the pool, first boots could become early boots to include first few boots on each tribe (premerge) or people who were medivac-ed
I would wanna see So and Carolina to come back, so from worlds apart seemed very promising
i didnt even think this was really possible before because most of them are much older now & would probably not even pass medical however now that i think of it i think its really possible i could see it really happening for maybe like season 50 they will definitley do a second chance 2 season for the next all star season the next all star season after that could be first boots
I think it would be cool to even just have a pre-merge boots season. If they do, I really hope Anna from Kaoh Rong comes back. She was my winner pick before she got swap screwed
First Boots definitely seems like a little too small of a theme. Maybe Pre-Swap only? (First 3-4 outs) I think that would make a lot more sense because the casting pool would be much less limited.
If anything they should just do a season on pre merge contestants

I do not know if this can be considered evidence for a First Boot season or not, however Pat who was the 1st out during David Vs Goliath is actually from a town right next to me, and I worked with his daughter for a bit at my job
She told me that her father is excited to return to Survivor and it could be soon, now this could obviously just be a newbie season with Pat added in, but I just wanna throw my own behind the scenes info in there

Apparently Johnny Fairplay and Russell Hantz we’re both originally called for 40 before they changed it and they were told it was gonna be Legends so I’d doubt So Kim and Pat Kusick got calls.
all winners is also a limited cast, so I don't see why this is an argument against first boots.

I’d be ok with first boots meaning first boots from the starting tribes. So like Mari from mvgx was technically second boot but first from her tribe
I hope at some point they bring back all of the people who were medevaced. It would give them a chance to actually play.

*sighs* I am not in favour of this concept. The problem is in some seasons the second boot was more interesting than the first (for example Christine was way more of a competitor in South Pacific than Semhar).
