- The Nintendo Switch has been out a few months and most people are playing Zelda and Mario Kart only. There are a bunch of other really fun games to play on the Nintendo Switch though, so today's video we are going to look at the Top 5 Nintendo Switch Games You SHOULD Own But Don't!

I know! I bought Has Been Heroes and I feel like I wasted $20 and i got digital so I'm stuck. What a waste.

Has Been Heroes is hard as nails and I haven't gotten far but it's a great game.

Say Soun I was able to get Disgaia 5 today. Wonderful game a most own on switch. Binding of issac is also a most own too, beem having a blast with it too.

OmegaMetroid93 It's a list of games people should own but probably don't. Disgaea is a pretty popular game so most Switch owners probably own it. As for his list, I actually own Fast RMX, Kamiko and KoF 98. I would throw Blaster Master Zero in there as well as it's an amazing game.
I'd say it's on the same level of popularity as Fast RMX, honestly. At least in terms of Switch players. It already has a decent fanbase on other systems, but not the Switch. I just really hope it's selling decently.

OmegaMetroid93 Disgaea 5 is currently 118 on Amazon's top 100 best seller so that's not bad considering this includes Xbox Live, PSN, controllers and other gaming accessories. Arms is currently # 7 so this is good for Nintendo.

Yeah, definitely good. Hopefully the success of both Splatoon and Arms gives them confidence to create even more new, original IPs.
I skip it because I already have it for the ps4. Why buying again since there are more different games out there to play?
I would like to point something out, in regards to Fast RMX:
Not only is the value of the game very good, with the number of tracks and different cars, but if you download it, it takes up just under 1GB of your storage space.
ThunderbirdIV25 It's only available as a downloadable game so there's no choice but to download it. It's still a very good game and definitely a must own for Switch owners.
My mistake, I forgot it was download only. Still, the fact that it takes up under a GB is still impressive.
I kinda wanna know how the devs managed that, and why other games don't take advantage of those tricks.
ThunderbirdIV25 Yes, I'm shocked at how small it is. I'm also shocked at how small Zelda Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe both are considering all the stuffs that's in it.
They did a good job with their first party titles. I remember hearing the reason Fast RMX was so small - and ran so well - was because of tricks when it came to optimization. I can only hope that third party titles on the Switch will follow suit.

Zelda and fast rmx are only 2 games I have I thought about snipper clips and Mario kart but they have a 2 player feel and I play solo mostly. However I'm waiting for skyrim (yes I have never played it... i quit video games for a bit when it came out) and Sonic Mania
Has Been Heroes is absolute trash, glad I traded it in for Disgaea 5.
obliterator789 How is Disgaea? I played the demo thinking, "Fire Emblem?" But I just couldn't get into it. Fire Emblem Awakening got me into Fire Emblem, Is there a Disgaea like that? (sorry, not spam)
Technic 12 disgaea is fucking awesome, it's expensive but offers hours and hours of good gameplay.
Disgaea is a lot more freeform than Fire emblem is. Fire Emblem tends to be good because of the constraints it puts on you, and Disgaea is great because you get to just do what you want. Also for what it's worth I have never completed a disgaea game. I love Disgaea games, there's so much content in them that honestly, you really should add it to your library if you can, so much bang for your buck there.
Binding of Isaac. I never played the game till I got my Switch, but wow, what a great game. This is my first Rougelike game, and I'm just blown away by it. I can't stop playing it. It's one of those games where I still think about it when I'm not playing. I just get excited doing a new playthrough, cause I want to see if I get lucky in getting amazing powerups, or if I'm gonna struggle by getting nothing. Check out videos if you guys haven't played it. I personally love it, and I'm happy I tried it out. Great game!
Transfiguration same, it's like nobody else got it. It deserves a place on the list
IAmASillyPigeon it's price is really high compared to the PC version almost double
+Darktantion, that's the base game you're looking at. The Switch version of Binding of Isaac is called Rebirth+, which is the game, with all of the DLC packs, add-ons, etc. If you buy that on Steam, it's $36, so the PC version is $4 cheaper than the Switch. They're comparable in price.
Transfiguration Isaac is one of the main reasons I'm getting a switch I've played rebirth and the original I'm getting my switch hopefully at the end of this month for my birthday

my issue with lack of purchasing games for the switch is the lack of physical copies...
Thanks for defending Has Been Heroes. I actually have beaten all 7 dungeons, all I have left is doing it repeatedly to get the random characters left after the campaign.
My biggest tip is buy tons of spells, buy items as a second priority, skip as few map points as possible. Get all money possible, if you see a gold golem, hit him with all you have before he runs.

While I like the old N64 platformer titles, I am not as much in the mood for one right now. I am hoping Nintendo and Rockstar get on good terms and we see a Space Station Silicon Valley re-release.

I only buy non indie games, physical copies and exclusives. So in total i have 4 games only, next title is Mario Odyssey which is a long time away from now.
I'd recommend Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, even though it's an Indie download. It's the first time I have *ever* purchased a digital copy of a game and I don't regret it.

Has-Been Heroes is the best twenty bucks I've spent on the Switch. And I walked in with zero expectations.
Blaster Master...all day
I own KOF 98, Snake Pass, Zelda, MK8, Kamiko, NBA Playgrounds, Master Blaster, Minecraft, PP Tetris, Fast RMX, Wonderboy and shovel knight. Their really is something for everyone and best part is....its portable.
One game that i decided to pick up was Lego City Undercover. i'm usually not too interested into Lego games but this open world game is just beyond amazing. There is so much do do and explore and is probably one of the more mature Lego games out there. My brother is 21 and he spends so much time with it. Definitely on my top 5 so far.

I'm just a poor boy. Breath of the Wild is the only game I own and I paid for it by selling my new 3ds xl and game collection. I'm in college with student loans honestly it was irresponsible for me to get the switch at all but I had to have Zelda
now I've been playing the few available demos

I own all of those games and probably have not spent enough time with any of them. I love my switch and am eating up as much content as I can get out of it. Perfect commuting machine with such wide variety of titles. I would never have tried these on a home console, phone or pc.
Kamiko is the best cus it's all anyone can afford after buying the Pro Contriller
If you buy a set of joy cons those are $79 thats more expensive than a pro controller that is $69

Cool to see Snake Pass and Kamiko getting love. Snake Pass is one of the most innovative and rewarding titles I've ever played (and is 40% off til July 5th btw) and Kamiko packs quite a bang for your buck at only $5. Great vid. Think I might check out Fast RMX.
I agree somewhat with your list. I enjoy 'World Of Goo' and 'Human Resource Machine' on the Switch. Inexpensive and fun to boot.

I own 2 out of 5 of these games. King Of Fighters 98 and Fast RMX. I grabbed KOF98 mainly to see how it feels to play a fighter on the Joy Cons before dropping the $40 for USF2. As a HUGE fighter fan KOF98 is my favorite out of the entire year series of KOF. While I have that game on like 3 other things in general that I can play on, with better controls at that, I decided to drop the $8 just to see how it feels to play a fighter in general. When I was able to do MOST of my usual things on the game, I felt comfortable enough to grab USF2. I'm actually pretty good on the Joy Cons. I just can't see myself dropping $80 for the controller pro. Especially when I'm trying not to carry so many things when I'm taking the Switch on the go unless I'm setting up another house. And Fast RMX is great, and sadly, probably the closes thing we are ever going to get to a new age F-Zero game.

I own them all, I am especially found of Kamiko. I hope it will get to some of the other gaming platforms in the future too, so more people can share the pleasure of that game.

Fast RMX really did surprise me and has been fun playing.
5 Games I know I'll own when I get my switch:
1. Mario Kart 8 deluxe- don't own the normal version on the wii u and would love to try it out
2. DB Xenoverse 2- I'm not a big DB fan myself, but my friend kinda got me into it, so I want this game so badly!
3. Skyrim- On. The. Go. That's pretty much it.
4. Snake Pass- It just seems cool with the snake mechanic and all, definitively a different kind of gameplay.
5... SUPER MARIO ODDISEY- It seems really nice and definitively goes back to the 3d sunshine/64 feel, but with more freedom.

I own all these games except Has-Been Heroes. I'd VERY much recommend replacing that game with Blaster Master Zero, or Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap, if the super difficulty turns you off. Those games have difficulty levels, are very much beatable, and have lots of content for their respective prices.
If you haven't played The Binding of Isaac you need to. Hours and hours of great gameplay.

not really, I just live within my means (i.e. low cost of living) and spend my money on what I enjoy. Sorry to hear about your Has Been Heroes digital purchase, it didn't seem all that great to me so I skipped that particular title. I own all the other titles mentioned though and have played Has Been Heroes on my friends switch (they regret buying it as a digital copy as well). I'd say Blaster Master Zero, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight, I am Setsuna, Disgaea 5, and Wonderboy are the other standout titles thus far on the switch IMO (snake pass is a fun pick up and play N64 style platformer and is surprisingly difficult but I find myself playing the other titles more often.)
"Games You SHOULD Own But Don't!" - these titles do make SO much sense... just call these videos "games i would recommend" or anything in that line.
I already bought Snake Pass, Kamiko and FAST RMX at the day they were released. Has been Heroes is on my Watchlist but i'm not really into RPGs, so i'm probably buying it at some day.
King of Fighters is confusing and hard to play because of the button lay out.
You picked KoF 98. I love you now. The game plays fine and playable without a stick and has a good fighting roster. There is a single character mode in it though which can be set in the options in case you don't wanna play as teams. The only thing I really hate about about the game is that it isn't KoF 98UM. UM games just spoiled me with all its contents.
The lack of an arcade stick is killing me. I almost bought that 8bitdo zelda version rose colored gaming made just to have something to play on the Switch

Looking buff my dude. But anyways the first game I picked up was Mariokart, I do plan on getting Zelda but I'm still working on beating dragon quest 8 on my 3ds before I start another adventure. I picked up my switch two weeks ago so I wasn't getting it just for Zelda. I've also had a lot of fun with Arms and Shovel Knight.
I would have included Wonder Boy. It is a great 2D Metroidvania type game with gorgeous artwork and great music.

I would add skylanders imaginators because it's worth the playing as Crash and Cortex on a Nintendo console, Bomberman, The Binding of Isaac, Voez, and Lego City Undercover.

I was wondering why Snakes Pass was selling so good. It looks okay, I also passed on Has Been Heros. I may check them out.
My last few pick ups was USF2, Thumper, Desgaea 5, Kamiko, and Tetris. I normally grab the neogeo games as they release.
And yes Fast RMX is great! I got that my first week with the Switch.
I haven't bought setsuna yet but I want to, I'm trying to figure out what's the new few games I should pick up. I was looking at Rudymical, Tumbleseed, and graceful explosion machine; just not sure about them yet.

Astro Deul Deluxe. It's been getting some bad stuff said about it but it's honestly a blast to pick up and play around with. So many funny and stupid things can happen it is such a comical game at the least and I think if you can spare the money, go ahead and pick it up.

Those all look like good choices although I already have a version of KOF 98 in the PS2 collection that I have, I'm not sure if it's arcade perfect or not though? When I do finally get me a Switch I'm planing on getting Blaster Master Zero, cause my lil bro has it and it looks like my kind of game, I'll probably get Zelda also, and definitely Mario Kart cause I've been playing it with my lil bro a lot and I've developed a bit of an addiction for it.
I like fast RMX alot but cant seem to get 1st at all after Subsonic is there some advantage I'm missing because I almost always get 1st on multiplayer and Never lost in tournaments with any of my friends. Is the computer really that hard? Great video cant say I completely agree with all of them but its opinions and you cant argue those. Stay Awesome!
have you tried "human resource machine" ? ok, it is not exclusive on the Switch, but it is a very nice, not-trivial puzzle game.

i would have added Dark Witch Music Episode: Rudymical to my list of the top 5 you should own but probably don't. I personally like rhythm games and the music/gameplay in it are great for the price. it's also a bit different than most of the other releases since it's all racing games, shmups, fighting games etc...

Lego City undercover is a great game even if it is just a re release but they did a good job of porting it over
