“Getting rich on shipping”….HA! That’s hilarious. Jenny, I can’t imagine what it took and is still taking to get the shipping program going. Thanks to you and Jerry for undertaking this massive effort. It going to allow those of us that have limited access to proven winners an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful plants.

I hate it when people complain about shipping on anything but especially from small businesses. It's so inexpensive in comparison to buying an airplane ticket or driving your car across country to pick up the thing.

People need to lighten up. My sons own a tea shop in Raleigh and I have watched them change and adapt their ecommerce site for the past 14 years. People have no idea of the costs to develop a good site and owners have to constantly pay all sorts of professionals to create and maintain the site to keep it relevant. Over a period of time a good site for a growing business will cost upwards of $200,000. You guys are doing a great job so don't let the negative Nellies pull you down. I look forward to your post everyday.

I don’t normally comment but wanted to share my experience shopping online. I ordered a couple of the firelight tidbit hydrangeas as soon as your website went live. It has been hard to find them locally. This order is being shipped to the Boise Idaho area, so not close. I did find one at a local garden center but I needed 2 and felt it was overpriced. I got 2 from Creekside and paid shipping and it was still less than what 1 plant was at my local garden center. The 1 plant may have been a larger container size, but I don’t mind waiting for them to grow and I trust the quality that I will get from Creekside. I also feel good about supporting this sweet family and employees. It has been a great experience and I will get my plants this week. I am so excited and grateful that you give us the opportunity to get things that we may not find locally. I felt the plant price and shipping were very reasonable. Thank you for all that you do.

Wanted you to know how it is out here in video land. Watching you explain the good, bad and ugly side of plants helps us all to decide what we might want to plant. Having done that, we often can’t find either the variety or size we want. Since most of us aren’t around the corner from you, you provide a huge opportunity to put our hands on plants we cherish. Everybody out here is anxious for you to get it all off the ground, and will be patient. I just love that you have grown your business from the ground up, and have stayed true to your principles. You will do it all beautifully. Relax and know that it will all work out.

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed our visit and purchase from your wonderful nursery last week. Your staff are amazing! Very sweet and eager to answer any questions that we had. We came to find shade loving plants but ended up getting a bundle of beautiful plants for our full sun steep hill on our property. As a Floridian transplant, I suffer from the winter blues, so hubby fell in love with the “evergreen bowling balls 😂” as a possible solution. I told him that you talked about them and that they remained small and that sealed the deal. Again thank you for everything you and your staff do. 🤗🤗🤗

When I decided to order from you, I understood that you’d be shipping across the country so cost is higher. I took into account that the plants will have a longer travel time so maybe they’ll be more stressed. Some of the plants aren’t common here, so maybe they’ll do well, but maybe not. Either way, it’s a fun experiment. I wouldn’t blame you all:) I like supporting your business.

I had a mum I bought last fall and enjoyed it for that season. Then I just left it in the pot (regular plastic kind) over winter thinking I would clean it up in the spring and use the soil somewhere in the landscape. (I live near Toronto where the snow falls heavily and the ground freezes. 5a) Lo and behold before I had a chance to do anything in Spring I noticed little green leaves. The leaves became big and lasted the whole summer. It is now fully blooming. I am now trying to debating whether to over winter it inside or just plant in the ground

You all have helped take the guesswork out of gardening and make it even easier by expanding your business to include shipping. this will help me to get my hands on plants that proven Winners aren't selling directly to the consumer but to suppliers. In my area, we don't have many proven Winner plants or Southern Living plants. So, thank you again for filling that void.

Home Depot delivered Proven Winners potting soil to my house for free. Unfortunately it also brought fungus gnats into my house big time!
Potting soil USED to say sterilized but no bags say that anymore which is a shame. I've been experimenting with both heating plastic bags of soil in my microwave and also filling a pot and pouring boiling water through it. Both slow things down and are a pain. Should not be necessary but clearly it is.
