Spot fucking on. Well said, even if it took 9 bajillion takes.
I was asked on the weekend how to dive deeper and I used your example of dive on a 5m rig line untill you can stay down. Then go to 8, 10, 12.....
You have put some of the best advice into the public forum that i have seen.

    1) Where did you get or who manufactures that float in 7:10 of your video?
    2) Is it anchored to a weight or teetered to you?
    Thanks in adv!!

This is a wettie boat float and is manufactured in New Zealand. And they can either be connected to your gun or used to mark a location while diving. I alternate depending on what’s required.
As for acquiring them if there isn’t a local retailer you can get them directly from wettie

i heared all of the movie, and like it a lot, you are right. i learn new stuff every day and enjoy it
this field, is a joint of about 3 other sub-fields - such as Logistics, sniping, and diving. and as you know, much more
but its not a 'sport'. we fish ecologocally to eat. this is HUNTING. sport was invented to support and preserve hunting abilities by ancient cultures
this field - is the real deal. sport is for fun. lets kill animals for fun. -but this aint it. and its important for me to share, that we are hunters. not sportsmen.
we hunt. we eat. we enjoy. but its not a sport.
im ephasizing this, so called, redundant fact, in many people's ears - since there is a growing concern in the world that spearfishing shold either be banned, or limited, or decreased, mainly by vegans and people who never actually processed their own food the entire way. or vegans, etc, which are extremeists.
and and someone that deal with imaging and PR of this subject from israel - i see that it is our duty to edjucate the new generations to come - that this is essential.
not a sport you can say it's cruel and shut it down!
it's ecological. it's fresh food. its selective. empowring. its like going to the zoo, the supermarket and on a practice, at the same time
anyway- i enjoyed this chapter a lot.
    Asaf levin,
    Israel.

I have always expected a lot of deaths coming from these trendy freediving courses. New divers learning to dive deep without any real experience is VERY dangerous

Great advice and is one of the first concepts I try to instill in my students early on. “Leave your ego at the dock.” No fish is worth even an LMC or a BO let alone something more severe. Side-note, why are you losing so much air via your mask upon ascending? It’s free air that you could be sniffing via your nostrils back into your lungs at the most critical part if your dive, the ascend. Cheers👌🏽🤿
