Nice to see you back again I bought a Honda vision in 2017 after watching your channel it served me well for work never let me down I used all year round for three years I nearly got drove into on a daily basis but once I got the car I found it hard to drag it out then I tried to sell it on ebay that was a eye opener.
Hi dd, You say about getting driven into on a daily basis. I have experienced similar being driven into the back of with my first one. On my other Vision 110 I have fitted Rigid Industries lights for a bit more road presence and it seems to have done the trick. I also have the OSRAM LEDriving H4 bulb that I’m using with great results. No more dark country lanes with that lot on board. Thanks again and best regards
Thank you for your comments and I’m glad you are enjoying life with the Vision 110. They really are great little commuters and I have covered nearly 30,000 miles over the past four years on them without too many problems. This one shouldn’t deter anyone from buying one. It was ridden on salty roads and then stored in a damp garage, hence the damage. Nothing that cannot be sorted mind. Best regards
It is in quite a state but luckily all the plastics are in good shape. Once I’ve sorted the corrosion and sorted the brakes and steering, it should make a decent back up scooter. I also have a few ideas I’d like to try with it for some accessories. Let’s see what happens. I was down your way tonight route learning the bottom end of the service one ready for next week. All good 👍
Wow, never realised a Vision could be so badly attacked by salt. I will continue to periodically remove the panels, clean, then coat everything with ACF50. Will be interested to see how your project goes.
I was a bit surprised myself Andrew. I think it’s because how the scooter was stored mainly. That is in a damp garage after a salty winter ride home. After painting im going to cover the front part of the frame in under seal followed by a quick blast with the hot air gun. I noticed that smooths it nicely and it looks just like paint after. We will see what happens with it but I’m sure it will work out just fine.
@@scootyman2974 But I only saw one piston in the caliper? My older visons have 3 pistons in the caliper, all different sizes. Top and bottom operated by the right brake lever, the center one from the left lever, which pulls on a yoke that spilits the force between the rear brake cable and a brake cylinder feeding the center piston.
good to see you bk dude! always keen to see vision stuff!!
Good to see you back
Really useful video Scootyman. Looking forward to more..
Thanks for your comments shug. I will post more as I work through it. Best regards

Great to have you back, that poor Vision is in some state, will be interested to see how it comes along

So the Mk2 doesn't have linked brakes like the Mk1's? I find that the linked brakes work very well on my 2014 Vision
All of the Honda Vision models have linked brakes Erik. The 2022 model does also.
Best regards

How many miles had this little scoot achieved to be in this state 🤔🛵
