Absolutely love the modern elements...Also absolutely love the G bugle sound.... Leave it to The Marine Corps to perfectly combine old and new in a tour de force
This is going to the hard working and dedication that our members of our united States marine drum 🥁 corps. Thank you for all of your service to our country. Thank you for coming to the Boston crusaders drum 🥁 corps show this 4th of July weekend. Your professional musical and marching skills are AWESOME and appreciated by this members of the Boston crusaders family and alumni. Wishing you all the best in the upcoming season and hope to see you sometime soon this summer. I hope to see some of our young people in the future wearing the uniform of this great corps. May God bless you and keep you safe travels.
Do our armed forces fight with 60 year-old equipment from the last century? Of course not. I prefer the Marines music arrangements and drill stay in the 21st century. This is one of the elite marching units in the entire world, let's keep them that way. Semper Fi.
Love this ensemble.........change is hard........obvious interval errors/hole?.........amplification?.....and cannot recall this ensemble having as many fracks as this video displayed, hey no one is perfect-but Marines often are, so surprised. Loved the old school Latin, you could tell they dug in and performed with cahones.
@@leewoodward1348 yes they learn drill within 2 weeks and tour for a month or two on the show and then learn a new one. Also keep in mind people can put in for leave in the military and don't have to be there for every preformance. That is why there are so many holes in random spots
One of the few Drum Corps that still wear traditional uniforms.
Absolutely agree!

Packs the musical punch of a 300 piece marching band. Strength in all sections. A+!! 😎
That's what a clean drumline sounds like. Nice.
idk their snares kinda fudged a lot of the short roll passages and stuff

The company front at the end for Stars and Stripes was goose bump time.
Fantastic job! Well done
Marched here back in the day. Like these guys a lot. Good stuff. 😎
BAD ASS !!!!!
Really great show! My old unit! Semper Fi.
Get it Mr. Liddell!
Simply outstanding!!!
so is colin mcnutt writing their battery or what
@12:30 awwww I wanted to see company front go RIGHT THRU the on-field pit. With one horn guy pulling the plug on the amp and twirling it like a lasso.
Return me to the 1960s and 70s! Please!!!
at least they're not wearing spandex!
I like people marching more than 30 sets of drill, 90s is the sweet spot

Why isnt eric here? Also there brass sounds really clean, love it!
He was discharged over a dispute about him using the Marine Barracks to record his videos.
10:35 So does McNutt or some other Boston Crusaders alumni write for USMC?
Title of song at 9:38-10:49
Fire Dance by Woody Herman
What is the name of the piece they play during there intro
Troop March B
if you are referring to the cadence
Title of the first piece?
Through the Flames
Eric!!!!
Nope
lmfao Eric is not here
*partly comprehensible grumbling noises about amplification and the synthesizer*
Going the same direction, next to each other, one marine marching forward and the other marching backwards. Looks off to me
@EMCproductions
Just wondering if Tru Crawford would have approved of mics for soloists ...never needed them before !
just wondering if anyone asked !
I'd rather not have my trumpet solo sound like a bumblebee thank you
Tru is just shaking his head!
What generation has spearheaded all the modern innovations of today I wonder......
The on-field mic for the soloists was done tastefully and not a distraction.
Maybe they should try and enter DCA. Maybe they can run other Corps for their money, lol
Absolutely not.. America's military does not place behind others
@aaronvotan, anyway, those bass drummers was giving it some 😂
DCA is for the amateurs. These are the pro's.
What's DCA?

They do not get anywhere close to the amount of practice time DCI corps do.
@@Inspadaveuh, you sure about that?

WTF are cahones?
No props or dancing girls? And they call themselves a drum corps.
😂
But they are using electronics and amplification
@5:13 Atrocious marching right at the stepoff from baritones.
