For over 20 years Fredrik Härén and his family have lived off-grid on a remote Swedish island during the summer. Solar energy is used for everything: from cooking and lighting to making drinking water from the sea.
On a second solar-powered island Fredrik invites people from all over the world to stay, free of charge; providing time to reconnect with their creativity.
Both systems work so well that Fredrik and his family have made a bold decision - they're going to live on their 'home island' all year round!
