I agree the performance pack made all these “special editions” irrelevant. Need more to differentiate them imo rather than just badges and one green color. Would’ve loved see functional aero like previous TS. Maybe recaro seats, supercharger, vented hood, oil cooler, forged wheels, etc so much left to be desired that the aftermarket does
@@BitcoinTo150K I think you make a point which is why I would advise people to just go used. Not enough of a change to pay the money for it. Just wait for 26 model if someone is hard pressed for something different. But hell you can do that yourself for way less money than what I’m sure would be a 38k brand new vehicle.
@@iManual6peed not only that but I just think the trueno edition could’ve been so much cooler than what we got. It’s cool don’t get me wrong but I just feel like they could’ve leaned more into the 86 heritage with the vinyls on the car. Like the hood should’ve just been all black instead of it being essentially a big racing stripe. Overall I just think the design and additions on the hakone edition is much more clean compared to the trueno edition.
@@gibsonisthename I see I did have an issue with the hood not being completely black. We all know they wanted to also pay tribute to intial d so it would have made sense to have a black hood.
I had a 1991 Miata SE Miata and regret selling mine, ordered the Hakone edition the day it was announced a few weeks back
@@lucasthiele2169 are you able to order now?? I was trying to help a friend they were not taking deposits

honestly the hakone edition is better than the trueno edition
@@gibsonisthename Why do you think that? The color?

@@iManual6peed see you get it ! Some more Easter eggs to initial d and the ae86 would’ve been really cool to see
I hate these click bait videos. Nothing about GR86 1st half of the video.
But there was not much to talk about and I did talk about it lol. So I didn’t bait you really.
Thanks, not giving this dickhead another second of my time
