0:00 - Why foreign countries don't have these additives
    3:37 - Are e10 cars already e20 compliant
    5:24 - Conclusion
    Information Source: drive.google.com/file/d/14-h4...
Using E20 (20% ethanol) in a vehicle that is designed and approved for E10 (10% ethanol) can potentially cause problems. While modern vehicles are often built to handle E10 without issues, not all vehicles are designed to accommodate higher ethanol blends like E20.
The main concern with using E20 in an E10-approved vehicle is the potential for fuel system damage and decreased performance. Ethanol can be more corrosive than gasoline, and the higher ethanol content in E20 may cause issues with certain fuel system components, especially if they are not designed to handle ethanol concentrations beyond E10.
Here are some potential problems that could arise from using E20 in an E10 vehicle:
Fuel System Corrosion: Ethanol can corrode certain materials commonly used in older fuel systems, such as rubber and certain types of plastics. This could lead to leaks, clogs, or other fuel system malfunctions.
Poor Performance: E20 has a lower energy content than gasoline, which means that using it in an E10-designed vehicle might lead to decreased fuel efficiency and performance.
To avoid potential damage, it is crucial to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the appropriate ethanol blend for your specific vehicle. If your vehicle is designed to run on E10, it is generally not recommended to use E20 or higher ethanol blends unless the vehicle has been specifically labeled or approved by the manufacturer to do so.
If E20 is the only ethanol blend available in your area, consider using a gasoline additive designed to protect against ethanol-related issues or opt for premium gasoline with lower ethanol content, such as E10, if it is available. Additionally, if you have any concerns or questions about using different ethanol blends in your vehicle, consult with your vehicle's manufacturer or a qualified automotive expert for personalized advice.

at my village we used to have sonalika engine for tube well , it was about 30 year old and perfectly runs on kerosene , diesal + kerosene and diesal + mustard oil blend. it gives me a nice impression on sonalika brand. they also started making automobiles but not survived. ..so in short i hope all NA engines might be having similar capacity to burn blended fuel.

Very Informative, needed this clarity -thankyou so much. But ek chiz jo samajh arahi hai wo hai k agr aap sochrahe ho ki govt petrol diesel k price ko reduce karegi to mujhe nahi lagta it will be done, as yeh jo additives, refineries and ethanol from desh ka own sugarcane and desh ka farmers -on this very excuse govt price reduce nahi karegi. Coz bhaisab India hai yeh yaha benefit of its citizen nahi dekhi jati. A big difference with established countries. And current scenario Jo chalraha hai desh mai its only to fool and loot deshwasi and nothing else, sounds bad but it's the truth .🙂

Brazil is using ethanol blended fuel from many years.
yes VW is popular in Brazil and older vw's/any brand(before 2008) engine does need changes/modification for mixed fuel to Work but they are working fine .
also E100 fuel is also available their.
but Porsche is working on E-fuel(petrol) in south america

It may increase performance because ethanol is rich in oxygen if we use it in cars it also increases performance and mileage also. It's just assumption

I don’t agree with the point made by the guy in the video. Lets say the cars with E10 material compatibility works fine with E20 because of additional additives, but what will happen to hardware that is designed to run with pure petrol like lambda sensor, Injectors etc. There will be an impact for sure. Also, how many manufacturers are going to update ECM’s of old cars to make those compatible with E20?
What I feel will happen - People might start to notice that their cars are running rough and giving low mileage. First they try to diagnose the problem which they won’t find because the car is not designed for E20 fuel and ultimately sell the vehicle and buy new vehicle.
A few others might face issue with leaking fuel lines, failing fuel pump etc
There is a need for independent study which must be peer reviewed. Two persons talking casually cannot credibly answer complicated questions without any actual research done.

I don't think most of Europe is self sufficient in petrol. They also import. But price for consumer remains less because they do not tax it to the heavens like India. India is also keen on ethanol because we are big producers of sugarcane and corn, unlike Europe.
