Although I haven’t watched your live due to work, however, I really love how you are still engaged with us “the screen” and seamlessly engage with your live viewers. Really well done Hope you have enjoyed your break ❤️🧡🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Ah regarding the nose working on the Celine, it was confirmed by a staff member there are 3 different persons. And smelling them you can almost pair several perfumes with one of those mystery perfumers (Dans Paris / Black Tie / Zouzou / Bois Dormant, Nightclubbing / Reptile / Eau de Californie, Cologne Française / Parade / Rimbaud / La Peau Nue / St Germain). And to my nose, no Francis Kurkdjian. Olivia Giacobetti I wouldn't be surprised...
La Belle au Bois Dormant Is the French version of Sleeping Beauty. Not sure why the French title is what it is though - possibly because the princess used to sleep on some sort of a wooded bed?
I bought A Drop D’Issey a day after watching this vid 😅 and I love it! But if you like this one, I recommend you give Lavande 31 by Le Labo a try! I think they’re very similar! Except Drop is more nutty while Lavande is more aromatic with the lavender…
Wonderful to hear about Puente! I ordered the 15ml as it was a blind buy and now regretting not getting the bigger bottle after your review! Have a great summer time off!
@@sandraboniface1481love iris doux! They show up on Mercari sometimes here in the US. Managed to change my order to the full bottle before they shipped!
Don’t ever regret NOT blind-buying a full bottle. It’s always wise and mindful to try a smaller discovery or travel size first. That said, I agree that Iris Doux is beautiful- very elegant and well composed interpretation of iris.
@@sandraboniface1481 exactly. In French the sleeping beauty is La belle au bois dormant. It is obviously a sleeping forest in that case, and not a sleeping piece of wood
There are so many beautiful teas that smell like a perfume in themselves (particularly oolongs). I have always felt disappointed with tea perfumes falling short. Much like gardenia perfumes never reaching the divinity of the actual flower.
I wish Celine Black Tie was a little stronger and lasted a little longer, i dont know where to wear a faint skin scent vanilla sadly. Dans Paris was just a borefest for me. I guess they have an aesthetic after all…
in all honesty even for me who is a skin scent and is a huge Guerlain fangirl, Black Tie is just to faint for me mostly when you consider the price tag. I tried it for the 1st time here in Paris. The SA sprayed a bit on a card and it so faint it could only smell wet paper. I had to double check with the SA that he had sprayed something. On skin it is a constant disappearing and appearing act. It is simply not worth it. Guerlain vanilla scents are way before with better quality
That was a satisfying end to a fantastic season. So good to see a flock of notice-worthy work! Enjoy your break. I look forward to next season!
Thank you very, very much indeed!
Thanks. I’ll be giving Puente a look.
Congrats on wrapping up another season of the best perfume program on the planet.
Oh wow - that’s so kind. Thank you!
Missed the live, but for a good reason! Paris vacation ❤
Have a wonderful time!

This is very kind, thank you. Mind you, engaging with an audience is easy when it’s as wonderful as mine is.
@@Persolaise Aww, they really are a great bunch ❤️🧡
Have the best break , see you on the other side . Happy holiday 😎
All the best to you too!

Hmmm… intriguing. Thank you.

Maybe it’s a reference to a forest.
Thanks very much for watching.

Glad you like the Miyake.

Same here! I blind bought a 15ml of Iris Doux following Mr P positive review. And now I regret not buying a bigger bottle !

Thank you.
The Puente is very special.
Same here (15 ml), now I' m eagerly waiting for it to arrive, and test it myself!
I am happy to hear you talking about Le Flocon de Johann K, ist so special ❤
Yes, a fascinating piece of work.
the problem with the Celine line is that they all insist on having so much vanilla
Thanks very much for watching.
Am I the only old fashioned person who associates Bois Dormant with the fairy tale of the sleeping beauty? 😂. I love the idea of a sleeping forest!
Well you might be onto something as Bois Dormant literally means "Sleeping Woods"

Ah, thanks for this. I didn’t know about the link.

It is very, very hard to do a convincing tea scent.
Jasmin et Cigarette has been discontinued?!
Well, I thought it had. But maybe I was wrong.
if you search for it on their website, it is still available.
Aaaand Chyprelia is already sold out. 😮 Well it’s good for my wallet at least…
Oh my goodness! Really?
@@Persolaise Mr P once again a fragrance was sold out because you. Enjoy your holidays
@@sandraboniface1481 I'm sure it wasn't just because of me. And thank you!
It seems they're making a second batch.

I quite like Reptile precisely because its strange leatheriness is quite quiet.
