- 1998 Federal Law Enforcement Training Center gov.ntis.ava20441vnb1 VP-035-98 Federal Law Enforcement Training Center - This video provides a quick look at where things are located and how to get to them at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. Producer: Randy Meeker.
The music, the hair, the glasses, the accents, makes me feel like a kid again.
UPTP812 graduate. Best training in the world. Glynco, GA
This was state of the art training...in 1989
Do you still have to have a mullet in order to join?
is it just me or is the 90s NOW starting to look the the 80s LOL
It's not just you.
Jacob Serrano, Damn, dude. Why’d you respond to a guy whose comment is 7 years old? He will probably never see it.

Lol notifications come right to phone. I see them all.
Did fletc in 1998..had a great time there!! Got to hit up savannah for st paddys day.
I was just there. It's up to date. I was there for 3 weeks for the BOP.
NIKKI POOH how was your training for BOP? Lots of running/exercise???
Nikki plz update us. Do you really have to do 108 stairs in 45 seconds? What happens if u fail one part of the physical test
kind of wish the video was a little updated . Has the installation and training changed any? I can only assume that this was filmed before 9/11 lol
Appreciate this upload, I'm hoping to make the last class of the fiscal year in September
Man this video was so cool. I really wish I could become a Federal Law enforcement officer, but I don't have a college degree yet.
You can do it. Keep at it. Some 1801 and 1811 jobs allow you to combine education and experience. You never know!
I want to attend FLETC so bad, I know it's going to be hard so I'm going to prepare and train myself.
Same, I start my police academy in a month, FLETC is a short way away
I feel you there, buddy. I'm in the same boat myself. Good luck and go get it!
I remember that video .
I was there in '99. This is probably one of the LEAST boring of all the videos we watched.
So do you have to be hired in an agency first or can you go through the training right out of school?
As far as I know, you have to go through the hiring process with an agency, be it ICE, CBP, etc
You must be selected by an agency to attend
Yes it is the 90's, but man I was there in 1994 (july) and it was great. PT, classes, chow, classes, chow, St. Simon Island for a nightcap (or ten) Lots of girls there!!! From all over. I mean lots of girls! Loved the training overall. Remember JR Fivash from firearms? Kind of a Slim Pickens ol boy. Anyway, overall, much better than the FBI academy. Much more diversity and experience - and maturity. My 2 cents.,
Female graduate I had a blast 🤗 woman we can do this 💪 🙌 good luck to all remember always #bleedblue police 🚔 💙
Awesome! Congrats.
Taking the entrance test in a few weeks. Curious....how was the training? Love to hear from a women's point of view.
I’m also taking the entrance exam, wondering how the academy is
who has been to the academy recently? Just wondering what it was like.
Im 50% in the hiring process, got a call asking me if I was willing to wait, so im prepared to wait for a while.
did you get in?
Why did cops all have mustaches in those days?
@flskywarn ur point?
I hope a 1970s porn mustache is NOT mandatory to graduate
Wow Waco Texas days
WACO: We ain't coming out! Did twelve weeks there in 97, GSA Federal Protective Service. Great training!
How long does it take to graduate from this? Is there only one course or multiple?
12 or 13 weeks plus following on training with your agency
Not sure why bigdog thinks the video needs updating...Im @ fletc now and it hasn't changed much, not even the PT gear. lol
specialross77 Still the same tube socks for PT gear we had in 2011?
At 13:38 if you ever do that you’re dead lol
FLETC Needs a more up to date video, geez how long ago was this lol
@bigdog7013 1998 Federal Law Enforcement Training Center *IN THE DESCRIPTION*
Are BOP correction officer's Peace Officers off duty??
Benjamin Aragon peace officer status is retained off duty. The great thing is the Bureau of Prisons status is recognized in all of the United States.
I've got to agree with bigdog. Certainly wouldn't hurt to bring this video into the 21st century. If I am interested in joining the US Marshals this video makes the Marshals look outdated and out of touch (obviously that is not the case but this video doesn't help :-).
on a scale to 1-10 it was a 4
Ronald Holloway are you with BOP
