Dude, scroll your roller wheel all the way to the right on your spektrum transmitter and you can skip the battery checker and timer all together. Hot, humid, so you have thermals. 22 MPH winds. Would've never flown that day because no way would I make it look that smoothe. Loving that smoothe runway but that black had to kick up some serious ground effect, no?
very interested in this plane takes the same batteries as the A-10 the smart 230 helicopter & the infusion 180 helicopter I like your videos you deserve the growth
umx planes are great, much tougher and funner than the bigger counterparts. There's much better value in umx, horizon larger scale planes are garbage with garbage foam, and you're paying nearly twice as much for that cheaper foam. 200 for one of these good deal 400 for a non umx timber is a terrible deal. Yo.
@jgrc73 where are you getting your fake numbers from. So you're saying something that's smaller cost more in materials than something larger? So more foam is cheaper than less foam? Umx reciever is more expensive that a full size reciever. More raw materials on a larger plane like retracts , plastic , carbon fiber is cheaper than a micro sized plane? Linear servos are on umx are more expensive than standard 9 gram servos. However you came to this conclusion. Please don't operate heavy machinery or breed.
@@-PHANT0M the 50mm habu is $200 bucks. I just don’t see how it’s possible to cost as much as a park flyer. The habu has a full range receiver, thrust reverse esc, servo are way better. And a umx cost the same. I just want to understand the price.
Well, at least it sounds better than the UMX A-10. That thing sounds like nails on a chalkboard, hideous. I like the size. The sweet spot for me is 650mm - 700mm., but $200 for a UMX made out of EPS coffee cup foam. For that price, it should be made out of EPP.
Any tip to give to to help me convince my wife to let me get into this hobby!!!! She will not let me spend 160$ on 2 plants! That are small and help me get confidence to get a big one 😢😢😢
Go to flitetest and build you simple dollar store foam planes. You can build a simple trainer for about 40 bucks. Once you can fly a little build you some sheet foam 28-30 inch flying wings and have a ball for cheap... I just built a 28 inch wing that I laminated (this was a speed build) 2207.5 2800kv motor on 5s 1300, 2x digital 9g servos and a cheap rx my cost was about 90 dollars for the plane, servos, esc, rx and motor and this is a 130mph plane that flies like it's on rails has 3 to 1 power to weight ratio and is an absolute ball to fly. Foam board planes make for cheap builds and they fly great and they repair easy. We make combat 30in flying wings and beat the living hell out of them and they just take the abuse no problem and fixing them is as simple as some hot glue. Those combat wings we make cost less than 40 bucks to build and I can build one from start to finish in about 90 minutes if I'm taking my time. If I was really trying to build one as fast as possible ide say I could do it in 50-60 minutes. Flying wings really are super fun and they are very simple and fly like they are on rails and do very well even in stiff wind. A 30 inch flying wing will fly with no issues in 10-15mph winds that would keep a lot of other small craft grounded. A basic 2206 powered 28 inch flying wing with a 3s 1300 or 4 cell 1000mah pack will have plenty of power and will come in right below the 250 gram limit so it doesn't have to be registered/remote ID. 2206 2300kv motor with a 5x5x2 prop will have plenty of speed even on 2s with a 5x4x2 prop for newbis and will fly great on 3s with a 5x4.9x3 prop with tons of power and great flight times or absolutely rip on 4s with a 5x5x2 prop. So one plane build that's 40-50 bucks will give you from mild to wild performance just based on prop and 2, 3 or 4s packs. Your going to crash a lot when learning and they are easily repaired with hot glue and they will take a lot of abuse and just pick it up and put it back in the air... it takes a lot to damage them to where they aren't flyable without repair and when you finally destroy the foam to where it's not worth repairing simply take the electronics off, cut you another wing out of a dollar sheet of foam board and you have a fully refreshed plane for a buck. I love flying my large scale 3d gassers and turbine planes but I still have a place in my heart for foam board planes and have tons of fun flying them just for the fact that they take a beating and come back begging for more.... plus RC combat is among the most fun one can have with rc planes. Have 10 people or so all flying foam board wings and trying to knock each other out the air until only one is flying... yeah that's more fun than pretty much any other facet of rc flight.
The p51 was better at everything but top speed compared to the ME 262 in ww2 if they both go into a downward spiral dog fight the p51 will win everytime
for sure they are, e flite aint putting the 9gram servos in their planes because if they r going to weight over 250gram and it will be illegal to fly it in most countries

Chuck Yeager said "The first jet I ever saw I shot down." He was talking about the ME 262. Over 300 kills were claimed by various allied aircraft.
This is SUCH AN ICONIC PLANE!! Horizon hit the nail on the head with this one🔥🔥🔥
Thing handled the wind like a champ!!!
It went by like we were standing still!

I like that you’ve been throwing details on regulations in there for us newbs.
Only reg newbis need to know is.... FUK remote ID.
Oh my god they actually frickin did it!!

Is it more stable and easier to fly and to land than the eflite umx f-86 sabre ?

One question, will you make a video where you explain how to update NX radios with the new firmware to take advantage of the new as3x plus version?
Umx is Awesome 👌
I gotta pick one up did you get at Bayshore hobby are you flying in Deerpark
I wonder if it glides nice when you roll back the throttle like my sport cub S2? I’m new to EDF.
They should make a He-162 Umx plane
That would be so cool, very underappreciated airplane
Yes, that did happen but it wasn’t just a P 51. It was one of the red tails P-51

amazing flying. I have an rc plane but having a really hard time finding a spot to fly it.
If you Remove the LG, will that save enough weight to use 850 pack ?
HMMM, good question.. but I dont think the gear is that heavy.
Could I use my 1300mah 3s lipo for this? Not sure if it would fit tbh
That is really cool
Please review the zohd alpha strike MKlll
Screw remote ID all these stupid regulations is why I don’t even fly fpv anymore. It’s rediculous.
I agree. But I also post for the world to see lol sooooooo…
Me too! I switched to micro ✈'s.
Why you don’t have to stop flying fpv
@@PnwPryo yeah because according to the powers is gonna be all the flying I did was illegal
I just ignore it for the most part. Just use common sense and avoid the full scales, not hard.
cant wait to snag one, and throw digi servos in it 🤣
I wonder what an fpv camera would look like in that.

50mm sound great. It actually blows my mind how different the smaller 30mm sound.. does fly good though

Don't worry. They will.

It should be priced similar to the F-86 I guess the price can be justified since it has 2 EDFs instead of 1.

How on earth did you get permission to fly within a solar farm? Did AMA approve that?
Not suppose to fly over it. But it’s private farm.

None really needs an RID if you're flying under 400ft.
