    In this video I grilled a huge 3lbs bone in ribeye steak to 135F internal using the weber Go Anywhere.
    The steak's worth was almost as the grill's worth.
    I did 4 minutes on each side total and indirect It took another hour or so to reach the 135F internal. Added some hickory wood chips for extra flavor.
    The steak came out as expected, probably my best one so far.
    Keep on grilling and check my other videos too. A subscribe will be much appreciated!
    Thanks for watching!

      I used Kingsford briquettes. Yes it was the big weber chimney, I have the small one too but it was in my van, usually I do a full small chimney or a half big chimney. It was more than enough, it could hold easy 2hours of grilling, I didn't added any more briquettes. Thanks a lot. Check my other videos too

    I leave the lid off while searing. To cook indirect, I’ll close the lower vent on the cold side and close the upper vent ver the coals. Add chunks of smoking wood as a blocking log as well

    • @romanianredneckbbq
      @romanianredneckbbq  2 года назад

      Yes you right with the vents, that way the smoke goes towards the meat. That's what I did too after I paused the recording. Usually with normal size cuts I sear with lid on. About 3minutes on each side and no need for indirect and it comes out perfect medium rare.

      Well you're being a wee bit obtuse with that comment, particularly when it comes to RibEyes and medium. There is a certain world wide Steak Competition Association where millions compete with Ribeyes every year. One of the main prerequisites for scoring is medium. Fat content and spinalis in Ribeyes can take that.

    • @2010stoof
      @2010stoof 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@romanianredneckbbq what aftermarket ones are you speaking of? I'm very curious.
      What I like about this grill is you can easily disassemble the legs and vents on the bottom to clean well then clean everything separately.
      I am planning on drilling out the rivets for the top vents and adding screw and wing nut to be able to disassemble to clean. Gets gunk under there over time that ends up wearing on the porcelain.

      Also to drill out you use a 1/4" drill from inside. Go slow until it just makes it through the rivet.
      Use stainless 1/4 Philips bolt from Tom then washer and lock washer and wing nut from bottom. Easy disassembling. I did it on my larger kettle and my smokey joe.
      Can also add handles for the top bets if you're feeling extra frisky haha I did on my smokey joe and the top vent on my kettle because they do get hot
