Got these a few days ago and am Loving them. Agree the mid sole is more squishy than version 3 but it still feels like a Novablast , super happy with them.
I got a pair of these on Saturday done long run in them on Sunday absolutely loved my run they felt so great I couldn’t recommend them enough so far! I got the lime green 👍
I had couple of runs on this one. For under 10km the shoe is very good to do easy and recovery run. Up to 20km, my mid-foot surface has a little bit of irritation, feel a little bit of burning there, it is not a big issues but I doubt that up to 30km, it will hurt. I will try to use it as daily easy run for now and hope it will get better with the long run. Thanks for the reviews, Ben! Keep up the good work!
After 20 miles over 3 runs, they are softening up. Yes, much better for easy, long and recovery runs. I loved the N3 but I'm sure the N4 will steal the shelf space for my easy recovery runs of 7 ro 9 miles.

Been waiting a year and picked up a pair on Saturday. Did a 10k on Sunday and loved them, great shoe. Also loved the 3, kept the best bits of it. Maybe worth picking up a bargain pair of 3’s if you’ve never tried them, or if you’re an asics addict dive right in on the fours x
Great video Ben. What shoe would you get as a secondary shoe to the Adidas Boston 12. I have 18 weeks to go for my first marathon and I already got 100km in them
Hoping to pick up a new daily trainer and a faster tempo/race day shoe in the January sales. Fancying the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 and the Hoka Rocket X 2, but quite like the look/sound of these for my daily. Quite like the Superblast as well.
Novablast 3 has been an absolute banger for me personally, the moment I wore it I realized that it is the one shoe I have been look for. It truly hit the spot, I have now done more then 1500km in them and I am about to retire these pairs😆 I am thinking about the superblast but perhaps the novablast 4🤫🤫😁😁
Love my Novablast 3s (even if I got my Plantar injury in them - yes same guy complaining from yesterday lol), they always made me want to run faster than I was planning to, they felt so bouncy. I think I would stick with them over the 4s if they've taken that out. Though I do notice my 3s, the soles are wearing down pretty fast, I didn't know about the TRs!
@BenIsRunning I agree. I mainly use for road and compact path. Poor in proper to descent trail path. Definitely not for wet condition. They are so good I got another pair.
As a max cushioned shoe I’d presume so, best to get down to a local running specialist store for this sort of advice though. When I had shin splints back in 2019 I was recommended the Hoka bondi and they really helped immediately. Since then anything injury related I’ve always advised seeing someone in person :)
Best shoes to distroy your knees or even worse, your hips. They are so good (soft) that you overpass the ankle limitations and run more than you should, leading to overuse injuries.

Great vlog Ben, I'm still using the Novablast 1's and I love them, I'll probably get the 3's as they will be on sale now.

You didn’t have issue with outsole on Novablast 3 because you had the TR version which is more grippy?

I've got the Superblast and they are just amazing! Best for tempo/threshold runs. Novablast are for the long easy miles day after day 👍🏼

Tr is better value for grip and durability
