I have sever PTSD. This video helped me find this pedal, which combined with my 9-string (clean otherwise, usually) does more to calm me down than any drug ever has. Thank you.
It's possible. I find my tuner is even better than my pickups at picking up local radio stations, and sometimes I'll run it through some reverb and overdrive for shitsngigs

10/10 Would buy the audio from this video in vinyl format to listen to forever until I slowly decay and have the matter from my collection of atoms be redistributed into the eternal void in the form of nothing but sonic waves and ultimately, farts.
2 years after watching this vid for the first time, I finally caved and bought it. Knobs is an expensive therapy channel than has a side effect of giving you more pedals
I’ve had this pedal for a year and just realized the craziness you get with this pedal when using expression input. It’s like adding a game genie to your pedal to unlock all of its features.
I bought this pedal more than 3 years a go because of this video and I just want to say it's such a solid, solid piece of hardware, it sounds incredibly clean and can get so tastefully ambient, I recommend it a lot.
I've gone through some insomnia fits lately. This video of my favorite pedal has put me to sleep several nights in a row. Thank you, even if you didn't intend it.
Look at Knobs vid - Mind enters hypnotic state - Wake up with a new pedal on my pedalboard. And I know I'll be unable to prevent myself from watching the next. Your channel runs in loop in my ears when I'm working.
just wanna say that this is one of the greatest pedal demonstrations i've ever watched. the melodies and usage of the different functions here is incredible, if i had the money right now i'd have just bought it based off this video alone
I sat through your whole video. Amazing, Thank you for letting the pedal do the talking. And thanks for adding the little bubbles that help me understand how to use this.
Wow, instant sub. I spent all last night watching demo's for all sorts of combined reverb/delay pedals looking for this kind of ambience and this morning you hit the nail on the head. Not only was it relaxing and beautiful... showed the capability of the pedal instead of trying to show of your guitar skills with the reverb and delay turned up as fast as possible like most people do for some reason only. Thank you!
Just bought one of these thanks to your channel. One of the most inspiring pieces of gear I've ever purchased. Your demos are incredible, thanks so much for the detail and work you put into them.
Just got this for my bass mini-board (along with old blood haunt and walrus voyager), my god this is so many sounds in one pedal. I had a lot of delay/reverb and this one is pretty unique. The demo is stellar too
Great job reviewing a great device (and yeah...I just plunked down $300 for one!)...you have a wonderful style and wit, and I appreciate that you put all the [informative!] jabber in on-screen text instead of speaking it! :)
Brilliant Demo.....Very Musical......Im a huge EQ fan.....I was already planning to buy this pedal and have been listening to every demo I could find. You nailed the true essence of what this amazing box can do!!!
I just found out about your channel. Literally the best pedal channel I've ever heard. Not some dude playing pentatonic riffs I've heard a thousand times, showing no creativity with a pedal. No talking, no bs, some witty humor, and a true example of what these more creative pedals can really do. And even though my bank account is soon going to hate you, I love you. Thanks, Knobs. Edit: How do you get these ambient sounds that just keep repeating? Are you using a looper or is it all just this one pedal?
I think in this particular vid it's just the one pedal.. I've got one, and it's great for layering with lots of repeats, and the verb smears it all out nicely... It's not easy to make it sound as nice as Knobs does, but that's why Knobs does what Knobs does.
Wait, hang on: of course the input is just a looped signal, in order to have hands free to turn knobs and all.. Is that what you meant? The floaty pads and fluffy layers are all Avalanche Run though..
@@WillemZenhorst what signal is actually going through the input? Is it a guitar? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just really love this sound and want to replicate it. So is it a guitar or a keyboard or...??
@@tom.s9455 I'm pretty sure most of this is just a clean guitar, looped, then going into Avalanche Run. With high repeats, the time long, lots of reverb and then just sparingly adding notes is really nice, and actually pretty easy to get that floaty atmosphere. If you like these sounds, just get one, you won't regret it!
Beautiful as usual, you always manage to impress. Man I really love this pedal, I'm quite fond of reverb/delay. I have a Eventide H9 and I still want to get my hands on this thing.
Such an excellent demo. All ambient atmospheres lovers should hear that. Guitarists and synth players. It is worth any blabla with so called demo expert.
Although this is an ambient monster, it's also very practical for an acoustic pedalboard. Compact, great tone, delay, verb. Pair with a tuner and D.I. End of story
You'd be surprised how many combined reverb/delay pedals I've heard demo'd really badly... they play whole chords and jack up the delay/spring reverb as fast as possible... this is the first one to play with ambience which is what most ppl want them for
It's great for pads to play over. The biggest concerns I've had with it: it's "mix" control can never dial in a point that actually make the reverb and guitar sound as one. you always hear your guitar parallel with your reverb. And it doesn't require a discerning ear. It has tons of beautiful sounds, but it's appropriately named. They're all dark and chaotic. I personally expected to be able to dial in some settings that weren't so foreboding. Neither of these are hits on the pedal or its creation, I just wanted to point this out to other people who might being expecting it to work as I did. I honestly wouldn't call it a reverb even. I would venture to call it... a parallel harmonic pad generator. :D
In my wettest summer dreams, Earthquaker pedals are affordable and I own all of them. Some of them seem to have no use but dreamful wibbly wobbly timey wimey fuckery, still, gorgeous.
I'm liking the many different controls one has over delay and reverb. I rarely if ever, use one without the other so it's nice to have a pedal that combines the two. I don't think I've heard any other pedal that tops this one so far.

Pedro Venegas-rodríguez kinda want this to happen honestly

The pedal art and the sounds make me think so much about Kid A.

Really?, What song?
I absolutely don't understand how this pedal works, but I still watch this video everyday.
