The Hummingbird is just like the Repeat Percussion on organs. My add-on Conn key-perc/ repeat perc I put on my Conn Classic 815 from 1958, it actually uses a physical mechanical relay suspended on soft rubber grommets. My '64-68 Wurlitzer 4500 and 4300 organs use an opto-isolator for perc/ repeat percussion not unlike the bulb and photocell in a plastic tube like on Fender amps.

I just ordered an Avalanche Run V2 from Sweetwater. It came in today and it’s absolutely fantastic. What I look for in delay and reverb is present in this pedal, the audio/build quality is perfect, and it still went beyond what I was expecting in terms of possibilities. Throw an Afterneath in front of another ambient style design such as the Polymoon and watch your guitar immediately begin churning out b-side OK Computer riffs. Secondarily, I acquired a Data Corrupter after catching a test drive from the Locust’s synth player featured at the tail end of the Pedals and Effects demo vid. @spieglass3211 4 года назад

@@robertfoster8025 That's one of the few EQD pedals I haven't played. But I love the Grand Orbiter because it sounds so good. The feature set is nice for a phaser though: fast mode, slow mode, and LFO kill mode so you can stop the LFO from moving and have a filtered tone, and set the filter where you want it. Then there's a vibrato switch. So there's a lot to mess with. But just listen to it in this video. Unless you're trying to get super wacky, that's the one. And honestly, EQD's demo video of it is what sold me on it. Listen to that.

I had and loved an Afterneath but in a band context it seemed to dissappear in the mix as if it wasn't at unity volume when "on", I liked the Sea Machine but moved it on since I'm not a fan of chorus pedals in general.

Ive never used or owned a tube screamer ive always used the amps gain. My newest head is the be 100 deluxe and it does everything

You can still use the amps gain. The tube screamer is for pushing it harder.Like a boost .

I have so many EQD pedals that aren't on my regular board but don't want to get rid of them either.

@@abrahamkinard803 Honestly, I love them all. Earthquaker Devices just makes amazing everythings. That said... I'd have to say, right now, the Palisades is my favorite, because lately I've been stacking it with a Way Huge Conspiracy Theory, and I can get almost any type overdive/distortion I want. It just sounds killer. I'm an overdrive junkie (and EQD fanboy), so I'll be getting the Plumes soon.

heh, you guys are just down the street from me. actually Sweetwater is 4 hrs away and earthquaker is like 1 hr away. (hint, taylor swift's guitar player is from my town). I do need to get some EQD pedals because I believe in supporting local businesses. Jamie looks like my cousin( and reminds me of frank zappa a bit too). You can see the genius in both their eyes (my cousin was a hotshot engineer for secret govt defense stuff). I would get any/all the delays+reverbs and a rainbow machine because of that crazy buildup it can do.
