Still trying to figure out a way to control specific Qlab cues from scene changes on my CL5 without using GPIO - is this possible? Would be so helpful if you could transmit a specific midi note per each scene of my show. Ideally I just want to hit NEXT on my CL5's scenes and fire playback only when needed as per that scene.
absolutely its possible ! i would say check out my videos on gpi controllers because I have some sweet easy to use ones. But.. you said you did not want to go the gpio route. I would recommend a stream deck, I good friend of mine has written an instance to control all Yamaha parameters Video coming later this week.
@@KINETICPROFESSIONALS got it figured out. All you need to do is set your Program Change trigger in Qlab to be one # lower than the corresponding scene # on the CL5. Used it on a remote corporate show this morning and it was pretty slick!
Lovely demonstration. Thank you.
nice video!
great video
DUDE NOOOICE!
Good brother
Is it safe to assume one could use a midi to USB straight into the computer to do this as well?
Yup!
