I'm not a fan of Japanese stage plays for their cheesiness, but holy shit these are well made! The acting is impeccable, too, Edgeworth's actor takes the cake!
Phoenix's actor from the first show (navy blue coat instead of bright blue) is also really talented; he played a character called Sanada in the Prince of Tennis musical for four years, and that role couldn't be any more different from Phoenix. His voice was deeper by several octaves and he could even keep that same pitch while singing... he was terrifying in that role sometimes (if Phoenix had the same attitude and expressions, even Edgeworth would be intimidated enough to exit stage left).
