This truly illustrates the greatness and incredible originality and drama of the Rav. He combined the messages of the written Torah and the oral Torah with exciting verve and passion. Thank you for selecting such a great video clip and for adding the translation.

Now I understand why leaders are called "aiynei haeida" the eyes of the congregation. The Rav saw clearly the history and the present and what needed to be done for the future.

Whoever started to do this it’s been long overdue. I HAVE NEVER HEARD A SHIUR REGARDLESS OF TOPIC in litvishe Yiddish which I don’t understand a word of...Yet the passion and fire in his delivery if anything throughout my life has been underrated....This is lamden, this is articulate, and awakens not just the mind but the lev. It’s difficult especially during the three weeks to mourn that which you never experienced. I mourn that I came to this world to be able to hear and see any shiur given by this Gaon shebe’ Gaonim

Exactly. When I first heard the Rav, I had never heard anyone like him. I never heard anyone even remotely like him. He placed me under a spell that I still experience decades later. I hope in a few months to have two subtitled Teshuva drashos posted - one before Rosh Hashanah and the other before Yom Kippur. In the meantime, please check out the Chumash Mesoras Harav (for excerpts you can go to ohrpublishing.com) and the Machzor Mesoras Harav.

You have no idea how many times I wrote the RCA, YU/ Yitzchak Elchonon, & The OU why they haven’t done this. In the YU library they have a plethora of tapes in Yiddish & “Fashtei Nisht”

A brit that we consistently broke. Yes, we have to give thanks that even though we broke our side of the agreement, God still kept his side.

Mechael Kanovsky: We violated it and were removed, and after bayis Rishon the Aharon Kodesh wasn’t in bayis sheini. He’s not saying this is yemos hamashiach he’s very eloquently and intellectually explaining that it’s a clear Neis Niflah...not hester

There is the first Rashi on Bereshit, where he states that the Torah begins with the account of creation, to show that -
"He created it [Eretz Yisroel] and gave it to whom He pleased. When He willed He gave it to them, and when He willed He took it from them and gave it to us (Yalkut Shimoni on Torah 187)."
So in thus view, I guess, it's not at all guaranteed this another people shouldn't have based a nation there in the 2000 year gap, as happened all over the world.
