Just came across your page. My wife is struggling with chronic constipation since childhood but no vaginal bulge. Could she have this condition without the bulge? Thank you
Hi, I'm 8 days post op A&P repair. I have the bulge that your talking about. It's causing me difficulty sitting normally? Is that common as well and if so any recommendations for sitting? I'm using ice and a lumbar cushion .
Yes common. The best things you can do for yourself are reducing any activities that would cause swelling ~lay down when you can to take the pressure off-sitting does not eliminate pressure down below ~Continue icing when you can, but it is much more beneficial to ice laying down. Until further into heal curve, that swelling will be there when you sit. Reduce amount of walking and NO lifting until healed.

There is tons of information on APOPS website about prolapse. There are 5 types of POP, 4 grades of severity, and women typically have 2-3 types of POP at the same time. It is important to see a urogynecologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. This condition is so different from woman to woman. APOPS does have a patient forum, a closed space where women talk to each other about their symptoms and needs. You can find info on how to request entry on APOPS website.
Thank you so much! 4 days post and I was so worried about this feeling. ❤

fleet enema to remove blockage, drink osmolax ×2 and 1.5-2 litres water a day.
