    I enjoyed the blue tooth receiver 😂. I got it as well! Also, how the heck did you not know about neutral and 4 wheel switch 😂. It’s in the manual as well 😊 my Chevy Tahoe was the same way. The little things ❤

      Good question, either I didn't read the manual or if I did I thought neutral and brake were more safety guidelines than necessary procedures. I also assumed that park would be acceptable for this shift. Still don't know why it's not. But apparently I'm not the only one because over the years I've heard many people complain about the 4 low shift. That's why I wanted to mention it. Apparently there's others like me who either don't read or understand the manual. 😂

    Do you have the stock transmission cooler? My 99 doesn't have lines going to the radiator only to the cooler itself.

      @@alexjrtony350 yes that is how mine is. I've been meaning to look and see if maybe the previous owner installed a 6.0 cooler because I've never seen trans temp over 190° even towing over 20k pounds in 100° weather

      @alexjrtony350 23 дня назад +1

      @@machineryd2765 Yea I mentioned that because shortly after buying mine I was towing about 9k lbs and had another 500 or so in the bed and it got hot to the point of dumping about 8 quarts of fluid out of the transmission bell housing. Thankfully once it cooled down I added what was needed and continued on with my trip. Drove another 700 miles and didn't have any hiccups. I now have a Mishimoto trans cooler in the box waiting to be installed lol.

      @@alexjrtony350 yeah I've heard it's common. I'd say mine has been upgraded because it stays oddly cool. Buddy has a 2000 which goes in transmission as well and he's seen 230 on occasion.

    What’s your mpg?

    • @machineryd2765
      @machineryd2765  Месяц назад +1

      @@rogersavdy6022 it varies depending on mph. This truck has 410 gears and the high rpms kills mpg. If I just drove county roads at 35-40mph I've gotten 20, driving mostly at 45-50 mph about 18mpg. At 55 it gets about 16-17. But get on the interstate and run 70-73 it gets 13-14. With this truck rpm is everything. Go above 2k and it drinks fuel
