Kevin it appears that they completely ignored the receptacle, junction box or abondoned outlet box. As you said it still needs to be readily accessible. I’m retired now but lacksidaisical other craftsmen it seems always have liked to ignore the electrical portion of construction. 🤨😠. Have a good day Kevin.

A significant amount of the sound enters the ear through the mastoid bone and ear plugs provide absolutely no protection from that. Earmuff type hearing protectors do so they always provide more protection.
Where's your show john? Come on mr. Know it all. Oh, thats right you don't have one thats been successful for close to forty two years. Why don't you come back in 41 years , then you can spout off at the mouth.
Let's not speak in absolutes. Rather than saying "never," let's tell others to be aware they may bend the tool when using excessive force. Clearly this method works, as we saw.

It's always nice to see Roger.Such a good man.
Upvoting for Roger doing good.
Sadly this episode is from 2017, Roger has since retired from the show due to ill health.

The house I grew up in had hot water radiators, the best heat.
I like how immediately after the sun protection schpeel they had a segment with the bald guy out in the sun with absolutely no sun protection.

on the radiator, I might have moved the outlet first.
bigtx77 I see, never mind then lol
Kevin right they responded and said it was a plate cover
Still has to be accessible.
Receptacles as with all electrical outlets and junction boxes are suppose to be exposed. Screw the electrician.

Ouch.

I would have taped the face of the bricks before beginning the job (considering the texture of the brick).
Thank you Roger for the info.👍

The "Right Size"... Usually you would see a radiator fitted under at least one window in each room. Blocks off an electrical outlet?
Abandoned electrical outlet. That white plate is a junction box cover only.
Wow, never seen a domestic steam system in the UK.

If someone asked me what side of a hammer to use...I think I'd just stare at them.
In her defense, it is an odd hammer for most people. Both sides probably looked more or less the same from most of the angles she held it at.

That house was not built in the 1920s, not unless it had massive reconstruction... In which case the facade isn't original anyway.
That house was definitely from the 20’s
@@mcroley591 that looks nothing like any style from the 20s. What makes you think it's that old? It looks very modern - 90s or 00s.
