You kept the shiny side up. Airbags didn’t go off. Look at the positives. I’d be surprised if that’s a write off. Just looked like panel damage. Good luck with insurance.
All the best with the car. You guys are amazing the way you film it all despite a bit of a setback. Really showing it as it is and hope you are back touring again soon.
Thank you! We really do try to find positives in every situation, we're alive and well and that's all that matters to us! We'll be back on the road in no time! Cheers!
I did notice your right front wheel while in 4x4 was locking up hard and rubbing in the clay,as you drive through where you bottomed out.Did you see that on the camera?
Some may think that, we were going just as fast if not slower than the multiple cars going up and down that had no issues. Just a questionable moment...
So sorry to see this happen . Hope everything regarding the car turns out for the best. Really good to see that you guys are all ok. I really feel for you Henry, knowing how much you have put into your car. Something that you just can't go out and buy.
Cheers mate thank you! Yes, we don't even like to scratch our stuff let alone crash it! Yes fitting it out to us took some time and we had it perfect for us! Having to do it again will suck!
Glad everyone is OK. It looks primarily cosmetic so fingers crossed that it gets fixed. One point. The hill that you were having an issue on at the 6.00 mark. I know it sounds counter intuitive but if you look at the smooth (ish) bit of track close to the edge, you would have had an easier time with your passenger wheels on that line. You had your tyres deflated and the 200 has traction for days so you would have had an easier time driving up that side.
Yes, hopefully! Yeah I see where you mean, probably would have been a better option hey. I don't like taking risky tracks very often especially when they're not gazetted roads and insurance won't cover if something happens. Glad I didn't go off the side there though! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
This was a very hard episode to watch, I was holding my breath at every corner. So glad you are all ok. We hope you are back on the road soon, love watching you guys🩷🩷
I couldn’t quite follow the story, one minute you were going past the 4 posts hotel on your way toSwanhill and the next you were in Baw Baw. ? Anyway your all safe and the truck will be ok
Sorry about that, we weren't going to film then decided it'd be great to capture some of those moments with the kids. Hence, the gaps. Cheers for the feedback mate! thank you!
Heya our favourite family The Nalders, our sincerest condolences for the Landcruiser, we were on the edge of our seats, the music was making our hearts race. So glad you are all okay, and hearts go out to you all for the experience of being helpless passengers in an uncontrollable slide, super glad you are all safe and sound. We take away from this the amazing positive attitude of all of you, something we can all learn from.
Awww thank you very much! It was so scary, and well, having the kids onboard made it so much worse! We feel so horrible and hope we haven't mentally scarred them! We were just so lucky it happened where it did and we could all walk away from it! No point in ever dwelling on the negatives, that won't get you anywhere in life, just miserable! Be positive always, even in shit situations! XX
You're all ok. That's fine. The vehicle is a tin can and done its job. Have a look at who easy it to fit chains, Tim Bates and going overland. The water turned into ice, which you can not see. I skied, and there is no control when you are on it.
Yes thank you! Thank you, We do know how to fit snow chains, we'd go to the snow and ski every year so roads like this definitely aren't new to us! Every car going up and down had no issues without chains. We were very lucky it happened where it did though!
Yes, you are right. It happened, yout safe, it's a learning curve. Even the experts have a learning curve. This is due to the world changing. No body want to see your family hurt. And good on you for giving it a go. Russell
Yea your right that shit does happen ,and there’s nothing u can do but like everyone says as long as your all safe and the car will all get sorted just a pause in your travels😎❤
We did have good tyres, always run all terrains. Chains weren't mandatory but yes you're correct may have helped! One of those questionable incidents! Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
Hard to watch! Knowing how much work and preparation goes into traveling and setting up the car. Really feeling for you guys - well done on staying cool and focusing on the future. Also your sons "just woken up" face is also the same as mine 😂
Far out bloody lucky everyone is OK gee that tree stopped you guys from tumbling down the side on ya roof by the looks wow , the car still drives will be fixed yep have a few beers and thank goodness for insurance 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Omg!!!!!!!! THANK GOD that everyone is ok!!!! My heart is breaking for you guys 🥹🥹🥹Henry was being so careful! Ive been in this exact situation and I know its scary. I hope the girls especially Ky doesnt suffer panic attacks and nightmares after this. Thinking of you guys and hoping everyone is ok psychologically! Please keep us informed as to whats happening with the car. Sending you all the best of well wishes. ❤❤❤❤❤
It's so scary! We were lucky that it happened where it did and not in the spots where there's nothing on the side just a drop! Yes Ky actually does have panic attacks with everything out of her control now. Which we feel absolutely terrible about! A damaged car we don't really care about, the kids mental health is way more important! Cheers and thank you! Very much appreciated!
We feel for you guys, just remember everyone is safe and well a car can be repaired or replaced but I understand where Henry is coming from. I hope everything turns out the way you want it, keep making those awesome videos and safe travels 👊
wow, the title of the video it really worried me, but im so glad to see that every one is fine, i know scared but ok, blessings and the best wishes for you guys, big hug for all of you, love you🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤
The difficulty your vehicle had back at the 6:30 point suggests something was wrong. The ranger had no difficulties on this bit and a 200 series should have waltzed through it easily. That bit looks like the central diff lock was not engaged and the tyres had too high a pressure (I note you said you dropped to 22psi but the tyres showed almost no change in their profile ...perhaps because you're very lightly loaded. My 200 series tyres have a much longer footprint at 22psi ...but it is carrying a fair bit more weight )
The ranger did have mud tyres, we had all terrains. The ranger is fairly stock and light whilst ours 200 weighs around 3.5T. I guess every car is different and handles situations different. Cheers mate, thank you for sharing!
It’s good that everyone is safe that’s the main thing hopefully they will repair that one. The damage shouldn’t be more than half the cars worth normally if it goes over half of the cost of the vehicle then they write it off
Holy molybdenum guys😮 Snow is sooooo dangerous, like black ice. Once you're gone, you're a passenger. I'm just glad everyone came out of it uninjured, except a bruised ego for Henry!! Just as well you were recording also at the time to prove to the insurance you weren't driving fast or an idiot and were driving to the conditions. Can't wait to see the Ram and Titanium in future kids though😜👌
Wow, sorry for you guys was it a bit of ice it looks cold enough for it. Still mane thing is you were going very slow and you and the family are all well. I wouldn’t think that’s a write but who knows. Take care. 🤬🤬
Guys, I hope you'll be ok soon? I hope you were OK at the time, too. I hope you'll get your vehicle sorted out soon, and I have also got my own RUclips channel too. Bill's Channel - sta
Been in a similar situation and it sucks. Glad you guys are ok and not injured. Could this be American truck time? It would make some interesting viewing ;-)
Glad you are all safe and well But No WAY WOULD I BE USEING A TOYOTA LANDCRUSIER TO PULL A 4 TONE CARAVAN EVEN WITH A GVM UPGRADE YOU WANT YOUR TOW VEHICLE TO BE MORE HEAVY THAN THE CARAVAN..... And YES I KNOW THAT YOU WHERE ONLY OUT DRIVING AND DID NOT HAVE THE CARAVAN ON .
Thank you! Correct, that's why we always have our caravan lighter and don't use the full 4T. It allows us to carry a few extra kgs of water over the 3.5T legally!
You're not wrong! We've been to the snow plenty of times, we'd go every year to ski. We know how to fit chains if needed, in this instance they weren't mandatory and there were lots of cars going both directions absolutely fine without them. Just one of those questionable moments.
You kept the shiny side up. Airbags didn’t go off. Look at the positives. I’d be surprised if that’s a write off. Just looked like panel damage. Good luck with insurance.
Yes lots of positives! Let's hope for good news! Cheers, thank you!
Have a look at the feel-good family. They backed slowly to let a car past and put the back wheel in a gutter drain. They put theirs on its side.
Oh WOW! That's unlucky!
Im glad everyone came away unscathed
Tyre pressures are so critical and the type of tyres ran
All the best guys
Thank you! Couldn't agree more!
All the best with the car. You guys are amazing the way you film it all despite a bit of a setback. Really showing it as it is and hope you are back touring again soon.

glad your all safe good luck with what's next
Thank you!
Hope all goes well guys...!
Thank you! Cheers!
I didn't want to say it, but I feel I need to. The video just prior to it going dark would indicate you were going a little fast for the conditions
Some may think that, we were going just as fast if not slower than the multiple cars going up and down that had no issues. Just a questionable moment...
Going to fast for the road conditions
Glad you’re all okay.
Thank you!

How do you tow a 4t van with a 200 series ? Tow ball weight plus accessors , gear , fuel ,passengers , you must be way over gvm surely ?
with an upgraded GVM/GCM/BTC.
Absolutely not, those who are, must be carrying a lot of unnecessary stuff!

Tyre pressure is king
