- Waymore's Blues (Part II) is an album by American country music artist Waylon Jennings, released on RCA Nashville in 1994.

Waylon Arnold Jennings (June 15, 1937 - February 13, 2002) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician.
Jennings began playing guitar at age eight and began performing at age twelve on KVOW radio, after which he formed his first band, The Texas Longhorns. Jennings left high school at age sixteen, determined to become a musician, and bounced around as a performer and DJ on KVOW, KDAV, KYTI, KLLL, in Coolidge, Arizona, and Phoenix.
In 1958, Buddy Holly arranged Jennings's first recording session, and hired him to play bass. Jennings gave up his seat on the ill-fated flight in 1959 that crashed and killed Holly, J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson and Ritchie Valens.

I think you are referring to jessi not being able to sing.. I remember as a kid I seen them on t.v. and Waylon said jessi can not sing,, I agree with that. If you check RUclips,, Waylon and jessi singing "it wasn't God who made honey think angles" live on stage,, if you check it out where Waylon makes funny about her singing.. But the bottom line is it never came between them and that had a great life together.

For some reason Jessi kind of irks me in this video. As Captain said, such a haunting voice Waylon has, this is my favorite version of this song, I wish he made an album of just him and his guitar...
This is the best version of this song. Making my guitar sound the same was a little trickier than I thought, that thumb that looks like it's doing nothing is squeezing bass notes and muting. I'll never make my voice sound the same.
