I had a Zermatt '84 4KQ that I basically did this to, so this will be an interesting build to watch. For the trunk floor, maybe a B3 80/90 Quattro is similar (and being double galvanized more likely to be found intact), if you need pics to compare let me know. I'm building an '88 90 Quattro for track use at the moment.
