Thank you for the extra long one today! I'm running errands and this will keep me entertained while I do the boring daily grind! I truly appreciate you!!! Have a fantastic day everyone!🤗💜🕷
The narrator"s voice & cadence reminds me of my Da's voice as he told me tales, stories & legends.. Da"s been gone several years & thanks for bringing this happy memory to me .
I've listened to every one of your videos 18+ minutes long. Gotta keep up that streak! The longer the story, the better for sure 😉 I've also listened to every video of Mr Creepypasta other than compilations and Let’s Read (that took a long time), most of Dr Creepens and more. Lots of time well spent 😛
Yeah… this one is going down as one of my faves!! ~ I’ve been sober over a decade now, so this one hits hard! I especially love the ending. ❤ - Sending Hope & Healing to anyone out there dealing/struggling with addiction, homelessness, mental health, etc…. I’m rooting for your recovery & success! 🥹💕
It's hard to trust your mind during hurricane ball back. Excellent psychosocial satirical performance of written&verbal delivery to the story. Brett just pulled out another story to be added among unique classics. And as comment above thank you for the longer storytelling feature. Bravo 🎉 🏆
Thought a recognised Crimea Street. That bit was around the area the prostitutes used to run about... dont think theyve been there for like 10 years or so lol
"Well, your ass is put the window!" 😂😂😂😂 I love the Scots, Welsh and Irish so much. They have the best sayings and clapbacks. Throw in the accents and it's just 🤌🏼
Giving us almost an hour long story AND live for multiple nights in a row. This is awesome because now when the video ends I can streamline straight to a new story without searching! 🤩
Thanks for the excellent story and perfect narration 🙂❤️ The characters sounded Irish to me but what do I know, maybe they sound like that in Glasgow too 😃👍💕
Brilliant to hear s story from my home town!! Good to hear someone actually talking about the Kelpies ss they actually are, horrible demons rather than thrse beautiful water horses! Yhe phrases are hilarious. It is an accurate description of some of the poor addicts in Glasgow., too many its such a shame. Thank you Brett 💙🏴🤍 😢
16:22 Aye, our Kelpies, and the Orcadian Horsemen a.k.a. the Nuckelavee give me the "pure heebies". I love unicorns, and the fact it's our national animal, but the Kelpies and the Nuckelavee are nightmare inducing. Folklore states that if you were to mount a Kelpie, your hands will become stuck or woven into its coat, as though the bristles are permeating through your pores. Once that happens, you're as good as dead. The Nuckelavee, I think, may be the culprit in the story. Given the addict saw a "man" and heard hooves as it were. They are formed like a man riding a horse, but only the torso on the back, with arms that reach the ground. So they aren't Centaurs - rather more of an amalgamation of a bisected giant attached to where a saddle would be. However, if I remember correctly from my folklore studies, the Orcadian Horsemen are mainly, if not entirely saltwater based, and detest fresh, running water. E.g. there could be one in the Clyde because there's a saltwater aspect to it, but any of the freshwater burns/lochs/streams/rivers would be more likely to harbour a Kelpie. Kelpies are like Bullsharks - they can thrive in fresh and saltwater. Sorry for going on. I've researched the paranormal since I was seven, and studied a lot of Scottish folklore. Where I am, there's a fair few stories of Brownies, other versions of Sawney Bean - especially near the old smugglers' caves etc.
No problem I loved your reply. I love Scottish folklore it's terrifying! I'm away to dig out my books from my mum's attic she would read stories about Brownies, fairies, the Gorbals vampire ( that's where she was brought up so she was proud of that one😂) yes these stories and others scared the bloody bejeezus out of us. Thanks again 😊@@Emerald.She-Ra
CGS, You find some real jewels to narrate- and this was one of them!🙏🏼 I hope you can find more stories by this writer. If this is any indication of their talent; then it's a match made in heaven...or Ireland😂
Excellent story from Michael Paige! He got the Glaswegian vernacular down pretty well if he isnt a native of that multi cultural city. Im nearer Edinburgh as i live near the Scottish Borders but love having a weekend in Glasgow it has a brilliant night life & stacks of culture too. I really enjoyed your storytelling & ye diddna dee sae bad with the accent either! If anyone is interested there is a marvellous radio serial which is based in Wales & is full of strange things, mystical & magical with Welsh Lore Beings & Welsh Kelpies, Giants & Sea Beings & Hedgerow Witches. Its called "Curious Under The Stars" Ive seen it online & you need to listen to it from series One, Episode 1. ( its a British/Welsh production for BBC Radio 4) Its narrated by Emlyn whos a bard & ???, who lives in a little caravan & is the Potman in an ancient pub Called The Druids Rest. Its set present day & all the actors are Welsh & its that lovely Lilting accent. Its compulsive listening Thank you CGS for a great narration as always Peace & Good Cheer to All 🇬🇧👧
Thank god I didnt offend you. After I was done narrating the story I wasnt sure if anyone would take offence to it or not but I figured why not it's a story if it sucks then I'll take a hit on the chin.
@@CreepyGhostStories Not at all offended! 🤗 Ive noticed you often use British Words in your speech. I mean words not normally used by Americans. I suspect someone in your family has links to Britain or Scotland. Gob, is a well loved Brit slang for mouth & gobsmacked is a lovely word to get ones Gob round! Slightly rude but none the less popular here, and i gather in America is Wanker! Which is someone who is just a sad act! I love Arsewipe, for someone who is being a total pratt & unreasonable! @@CreepyGhostStories 🇬🇧 Id just been thinking about the name of this story.. Molendinar.. It reminded me of something. Then i found what it was! It sounds like the name of Thors Hammer, Mjolnir. Its pronounced M' yol near. Thinking back in time to the Viking Raiders of the 8th & 9th century when Norwegian, Danes & Icelandic & Swedish Norsemen who came to my shores of Northumbria & up along the North Eastern coast of Scotland Got me thinking about the origins of names. I know many of my countys names are from Viking settlers so maybe the Scottish names are from the same source? Even the name Glaswegian sound like Norwegian. The story title name of Molendinar doesnt sound the remotest bit Scottish But its similarity to Mjolnir is startling! Maybe Thor created a huge crater with his mighty magical Hammer then filled it with water? Or maybe its the shape of a great Hammer. Maybe the Burn ( stream) was much bigger in ancient times? Maybe im talking absolute crap & theres no relation between Molendinar & Mjolnir... 🤔 Cheers & Peace 🇬🇧👧

Hello 👋
Can’t say that’s an issue I’ve ever had. Perhaps you mean you’re in theater mode and not full screen?
People in the comments saying we have to respect them ! Yes their humanity!!! not their beliefs which is basically an early Christian heresy
Loving these Scottish and Glasgow based stories, but most Glaswegians don’t have the “Highlander” accent portrayed. 😂
Is the authour actually from Glasgow? I've never heard any non american say anything like "Talking out your fanny" If they are I stand corrected
Wow!
I thought that was a Three Dog Night dictum ? 🤔

English not Scottish so not the most accurate judge but you nailed the Scottish accents for me
