Squatch253 did a super awesome thing for this channel and these tools have not have gone to a better place than this. Even if 5T engine is sized, best way to unsize it is to start using a bore scope and find out what cylinder is stuck. Before dumping Marvel mystery oil or any fluids down the injector holes. Id start from there and it can't be too stuck but you don't know until you dive deep into it.
That’s one awesome hook up from Squatch!! Toby is the man such a good guy. With all your doing to lefty if the pony’s heads aren’t in bad condition keep the original ones on but if they need heads that’s just about the best thing for lefty right there!
Glad to see some of the Florin parts go your way and back into service. Big Cat wrenches are always nice to have around as well. I ran the 7U a bit today. I do like the wide tracks for field work.
I'm not worthy....... Right on @squatch235 how cool 😎 to give them parts they have history with. 👍 Thanks guys. Toby is helpful and has saved me hundreds of dollars from watching his videos. You are nicely following he lead, entertaining, educational with some humor. Sadly the humor part is something Toby has lacked. 🤣😂🤣 Ha, ha,... A friendly jab form one that road the short bus ... I mean I drove the short bus. That was a good score for a parts rig 👍😁 I'd be jealous but sadly I may have to sell/donate all my equipment. 😕 and find a new less interesting and less physical hobby.
Nailed it! Yep it is up to us to not only help support each other, but also to pass along the knowledge of how, and why these machines are what they are. At 35 I'm doing my part to keep 5T1700W, 5U1381, and 3J315 alive and blades shiny, hopefully my kids get the chance too. (5T and 5U still in service, 3j is the parade queen) Fantastic episode and personally looking forward to seeing what happens with that 5T!. Also my offer stands I have a surplus of d4400/ early d4 parts from 7J4265W. This includes decently usable 31 link tracks I can't use personally, and at least 3 good cylinders in the spare d4400 I won't ever use either.
Squatch LOVES the smell of cosmoline in the morning!
So nice, i liked the story about the pedal.
That pedal meant a lot to us. 😊
squatch is topshelf!
@squatch253 is a stand up guy! Glad he's sharing his Florin Tractor bounty with other tubers and Cat guys!
SHOUTOUT TO T0 THE MEMORY OF FLORIN CATERPILLAR IN SAC., CA...
For sure the community really lost a friend and a good source of knowledge when FTP went out of business

Glad to see those parts go to good use, Squatch is a heck of a guy. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Matt!
That’s funny as soon as I seen squatch pull out the throttle pedal I thought it was for a 950 loader
Squatch is such a good guy. Awesome stuff!
That has Dakota blade brackets on it. My dad's D4 has a Dakota 6 way blade.
It’s nice to be blessed by a Cat buddy that’s so cool!😀🇨🇦
My dad spent thousnds of hours on his 920 cat wheel loader our pedal is worn the exect same way 🤣🤣

I agree! I really think we got lucky with the pony motor on lefty! 🤞

It was a very nice surprise. Still sad to see Florin go! Thanks for watching.

I love this so much!

Thanks Kevin. I may take your up on the offer. My email is on the video description.
👍
Your diesel is locked up. I can turn my diesels over by turning pony over. Especially if decompression lever to start position
Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. We might dump some marvel in it too soak for a bit. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
You can still order a service manual for that dozer from CAT. Put the damn pony motor on the shelf and convert it to electric start.
I think we will for 5T. 4G does not have the correct bellhousing. I have been lucky finding service manuals on ebay so far. Thanks for watching.
