#TBT Hey ya'll! So this is a re-upload from 02-19-21 when I first heard this song. I was going through a lot emotionally because I had lost faith in people at the time, so this song really resinated with me.
@tracy C Regardless of where you are raised, you were either raised right, or you weren't. I've lived in Illinois my whole life. There are rude/inconsiderate people everywhere. But there are good ones too. Please, Thank You, You're Welcome. Yes Ma'am, no sir. Holding doors. Acknowledging someone when you walk into a room. ESPECIALLY older generations. I've noticed that people who are raised in/around big cities aren't taught these simple things. And can also be a generational thing. My folks have always said, Don't forget where you come from. That one thing is something that kept me out of trouble as a teenager. The embarrassment I would cause my family. And the look of disappointment on my Daddy's face.
@tracy C We live in Central Illinois. 3 hours south of Chicago. Totally different world. They've started moving down here. I swear many of them were raised by wolves. Things have been getting scary the last couple of years.
You're human sweetie. Life and people are not always bad. Atlanta has always been a sore spot for kindness. The midwest has a different breed of people in it. I live in Kansas City and I rarely see an individual who is not kind. Mind you we are like everywhere in the USA and also have some people who are just ignorant. Keep your head up and keep truckin'. Have faith. If you have time do a couple country songs that are for Veterans. One is Trace Adkins "Arlington" and Tim McGraw's "If You're Reading This." Bring your tissues.
Fun Fact: When Tim McGraw started filing this video he had to stop more than a few times because he would start crying thinking about his daughters and the world they’re growing up in. There are good people everywhere Tasha, and I was raised to be kind to everyone.
Just a correction. There are no good people. Just the Love of God in whom there is no darkness! He came for us in His name Jesus The Christ! All things were made through Him, by Him and in Him! The Good News is He came for us and was resurrected for us as a promise to us From The One who Loves us! He is near you! Seek Him only!
Tasha, don't get disheartened! I'm also a native Georgian, and miss the "southern hospitality" you mentioned. All I can say is God Bless, and keep being humble and kind.
When the pandemic hit & people were hoarding stuff with no regard to the next person it really got me down...it made me realize the value of having faith in humanity & I was literally mourning the loss! Can you imagine how much better the world would be if everyone lived by the 'do unto others' rule...it's something I've always tried to keep in mind...the world we live in today makes it even more of a challenge but I feel like it's key to being happy with yourself too so it's a win win for everyone!
Such a lovely thought Connie. I too always try to be kind and helpful with others. Some people are discouraging but I’ve always stuck to treating others the way I want to be treated. Peace to you!!! 🌹
You do belong this world needs people like you keep being you it's what I try to instill in my kids losy my oldest 7 years ago and I try my hardest to help others when I can. Love the channel keep bringing love to the world.
This is why I still love my small Oklahoma town. I am so blessed and grateful when I see my sons, 27 & 17, using the manners my husband and I instilled in them. My daughter, 25, is the same way. Now I get to see my little 8 year old grandson hold doors for his elders and always saying thank you and you’re welcome. I’m only 46 but I still insisted the old school ways of calling elders by Mr and Mrs until they say to use their given names and then reply with yes sir or yes ma’am. I’ve watched my son on the highway late at night, pouring rain helping a elderly woman with her flat tire. My husband was/is a great role model for my sons. It’s up to us parents and grandparents to teach what was just common curtesy and plain ole common sense to use your damn manners! I’m always saying “What’s the golden rule?” My grands know the answer and try their damnedest to follow it. That’s all I ask and if everyone would follow that one rule and use manners we could literally change the world or at least our nation. It starts at home then your community. Be kind folks. It’s really simple. God bless 🤓❤️🇺🇸
You belong my friend, you belong. Don’t let anyone take away your spirit. I’m also in Georgia but in the rural area and for the most part southern hospitality is not gone.
Thank you for being such a kind and Amazing person and sharing your feelings i agree with all you said but always try and keep your smile up to brighten others days
Tasha, I moved here to Murfreesboro 7 years ago and you are spot on! This is where I belong. The faith is in your heart and God will guide you! He led me here. There is evil everywhere, but a smile and being polite goes a long way! Maybe we will see you here someday!
The world has gone to hell in a hand basket But I learned that if you surround yourself with the positive people in your life The negative/bad things are much easier to deal with
It's sad to see people treating each other, and even themselves so poorly. But don't lose hope, there are some out there who are beautiful inside, you have to look for it sometimes, but it's out there!
Thank you for choosing this song. It is one of my all time favorites. In the craziness in our country right now, it seems so many people have lost the simple true values in life. I see it here in certain areas of Texas, too. Parents need to teach their children these values again. We need to have respect for one another. Always be humble and kind. 🙏❤
I think the reason people want to see you and others react to emotional songs is because of this cold world we want to be reassured that not everyone is heartless
Tasha, you really do belong. Just stay humble and kind. I can't understand why so many people have turned their backs on one another. Keep up your good work.
I just came upon your channel and started watching this video. I am a Tim fan. However, your reaction is what touched me the most. I also have noticed that people are not as Humble and Kind like they used to be. I don't know what's wrong with us. Has it been happening more since COVID? People being stuck at home when all we really want to do is be with family and friends. You just keep being as sweet as you seem to be and don't let anyone change your outlook on life. Your newest fan, M❤
When I moved to Tennessee from Illinois, I wasn’t used to so many kind people around. Tennessee has a lot of friendly people and I love the song, that’s why I love country music because it teaches you something.
Here's a song you won't need a tissue for. Toby Keith, "I wanna talk about me", or "Red Solo cup". Both are just fun. BTW I would have been out of Atlanta several years ago. It gave me some bad vibes 20 years ago I can't imagine it has improved much. Best for you and yours.
What a beautiful reaction and soul that you have. Just know that your heart and kindness will always transcend above all else. Not everyone will hear you but your words will find those who can feel to remind ourselves to always be humble and kind. -with love from Oregon ♥️
You're so right Tasha.... I'm with you, I hold doors, say please and thank you... and any reaction from the people gets ignored so often. Keep up the good work and keep being humble and kind...
My gramdma always told me "Good manners don't cost a thing, it's a shame they're in such short supply". I'm a fair bit older than you ma'am, but I promise the little ones around me are learning their lessons and we're exporting it! I'm glad you ain't lost faith yet; we're tryin real hard
Just love you and your husband lovely reaction you got me about to cry you was there .keep doing a great job yee are smashing it good luck for the future will be watching im a sub now best couple and youtube reactions the best on here god bless keep up the great work yee are doing👍💕
There are still many areas in our nation where people are friendly and kind no doubt but I hear you Tasha, some areas are trending to decay, predation and filth. I see it in the nearest urban area which was remarkably nice years ago but which I now actively avoid when possible. The semi rural area I spend most of my time in is still extraordinarily peaceful; violence of any kind is almost unheard of. People here are hard working, kind and caring as ever.
Keep your chin up. You’re right, people have lost the ability to just be nice to everyone else. There are still people just like you who know how to be humble and KIND.
Life always has its ups and downs. It has it’s way of letting you know you’re not in control. Some days are easy, some days are a struggle, but always remember this, the sun will rise again tomorrow. Always give the benefit of the doubt, and when someone shows you a kindness, pay it forward,
Tasha: I hope I don't cry... Me: Wrong song for that, lol November18, 1980 is the day my first grandpa died. I was 7 and can still hear the sound of his voice in my head!
Dear Ma'am I don't know your name, but thank you for a very heart felt reaction. I to felt like you when I grew up in N.J. people where so mean and cruel, women getting offended because I would hold doors open for them, no one saying thank you, like you killings going on everywhere, I was tired of that world there and moved to Texas, Now when I hold the doors open for a lady they say thank you, here in Texas when we drive down the streets we wave at people complete strangers and they wave back, it's like a whole new world here and My hope is that you and your husband finally moved to where you will be happy God bless you and keep you save in the arms of Jesus!!!
We need people like you Tasha. Don't get beamed up just yet. I got out of Atlanta about 7 years ago and I really don't even like to visit there anymore. I try to stay out of cities as a general rule. I don't make as much money as I did when I lived in Atlanta, but my quality of life is so much better. Y'all come back to middle Georgia!
I think you might enjoy listening to “What’s Forever For?” by Michael Martin Murphy. He asks “…maybe I’m crazy…”. the same way you felt “like a weirdo”. You’re a nice person. We need more people like you.
You keep doing you, your not a weirdo, for being polite, and kind, I agree with you, people have gotten so mean and rude, but we just need to keep being ourselves , maybe it will rub off on some.😘
Oh lord girl. I live by that Dolly Pardon rule - "No one cries alone in my presence". I am crying right along with you. I know what you are saying....Why can't people just be kind to each other.
I've given up on people so many times. but everyday somebody actually proves me wrong and makes me feel better. me personally will go out of my way to help someone who needs it be it giving up a couple bucks I don't need or giving up my time to help someone who's house needs work or car needs fixing. they always say thank you of course I say welcome but I also tell them don't forget what someone did for you. even though I may leave tired or a few bucks short. I always feel better a hell of alot better inside. don't give up. I know there are still good people out there.
It still exists. I open the door for basically anyone. Ma’am, sir, please, thanks… don’t think a day goes by that I don’t say at least one. Not bragging, just saying basic kindness (and manners) is still out there.
Hugs on you lady. There is still great people out there and we need more of our Lord in everything we do. People have lost things in this me me me world we live in. Be kind to others and love everyone in how they they love all. Color by the media has tried to seperate US. We all have struggles in life that is in low times, good times and even the rich. There’s no reason to mad at others for success. Kindness is free. Open minds are free. Bitterness holds you behind.
U do belong.. we love u here . U just keep bein kind to people if sombody is rude to u just pray for em girl. I'm sorry sombdy made u feel that way. Keep ur head up God loves u
Completely understand - born and raised in Myrtle Beach - lots have moved here, too. I swear I have never heard so many car horns in my life. It's like GET A GRIP, people, we are ALL trying to get somewhere. But I still make sure to let people merge in to just try to let some of it rub off. People who mock manners and teaching manners to children as we do in the South just do not get the difference it makes in every day life to everyone in the community.
Girl let it out. There are so many parts of the United States where people are just so rude. Here in Oklahoma or Oklahoma City where I live we have that mentality to treat others how you’d want to be treated. The world is just getting crazy. Your not weird. Don’t loose you. I love watching your reactions. And your Hubby. Sometimes people can be so mean. I’m sending you Lotta Love from Oklahoma City. The Sooner State. Keep your head up sis. 💜💖♥️
Hey Tasha! Hello from Canada! You said everything when you said 'Jesus Christ!'' He is The Way! The Truth, The Life! He never changes His Love toward us! This world is going down but He sustains the universe! I His Love is eternally present if we want Him!
Momma and Daddy raised us to be humble and kind, not to cheat, steal, or lie. However, they also taught us to be strong and not let people take advantage of us. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness.
You belong kiddo. No matter what you think or other people think, you belong. We are all put here on earth for a purpose. No matter how bad you are treated be like the song says "Be Humble and Kind". The old saying is, treat them with kindness. You will always have ignorant people out there. Shrug them off on go on with life. There are more kind people than bad ones. Continue doing what you doing. Love your reactions. If you like story telling listen to Tim McGraw's song "If You're Reading this" and Trace Adkins song "Arlington". Would love to here your reaction.
Get out of Atlanta and move to small town Georgia. I’m 64 and no where near perfect but I do try to live a good life and try so hard to remember what my mamma told me growing up and to remember my manners!
ALL IS NOT LOST SO YOU SHINE ON WITH KINDNESS SO NOBODY FORGETS BY YOUR EXAMPLE AND ABOVE ALL DONT USE OUR KINGS NAME IN VAIN , LOVE HIM AND PRAISE HIM. QUIKLEY PRAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE RUDE AND UNKIND.
Tasha, you have a beautiful soul. I'm from Tennessee. I can remember being in Warren Michigan one time and and I called a lady ma'am and she was offended by it and said "don't you ma'am me" in a hateful tone. Another lady acted offended because I held the door open for her. Maybe because I am white and have a strong accent. I truly don't know why. I never meant to be offensive I was showing these ladies who were older than me respect by my actions. I have seen and heard a lot of bad things in my lifetime. I grew up a country boy outside a tiny town. I was only trying to do things the way I was brought up ya know? Nothing makes sense to me anymore. It's like living in bizzaro land. I see you seem to feel similarly. I'd give you or your husband the shirt off my back. You're good people. You're always welcome in East Tennessee. God bless ya. Take care.
I’m a small town guy. Actually I live in the sticks, but work in a small town. For the most part, mostly good people. There are exceptions. I couldn’t imagine living in a city. I don’t even like to visit big cities.
This world is getting crazy , I love my little town in southern Oklahoma , hate going into the city because of some people being rude so I can relate to you
you've talked about ppl being asshats these days in another video a while back. Stay strong Ms. Tasha. There are still some of us in the world that were raised right... still holding the door open, saying please and thank you. I promise we do exist.
Tasha, I know I'm kinda late coming to this reaction but it just came up today, most likely because I just watched another reaction to this song. But I can relate to your comments about Southern hospitality. I'm from Minnesota and we used to be known for being "Minnesota nice". Over the last 5 years or so, however, a lot of people haven't been so nice. I think it's because there has been an increase in "bully culture" from many in our government which has made it "ok" (even though it's not) to be rude and/or mean to others. I have a friend whom I give rides to work. She is a cashier at a grocery store and every day she tells me about how rude people have been. I used to be a rideshare driver but quit a few months ago because of the assaults and violence perpetrated against drivers. Even tailgating is a form of bullying. Drivers have gotten very aggressive too. I hope we can return to a sense of decency. I still hold doors and help people out when I can. I love the message of this song and your reaction. You're beautiful, girl!
I moved from California to South Carolina and the difference is amazing. For the most part people are a lot better in the south. California I lived in one neighborhood for 17 years and barely knew my neighbors. I’ve lived in South Carolina for two years and I talked to my neighbors all of the time. I know almost all of my neighbors and we get togetherJust to keep in touch about what’s going on with everyone. For instance if someone is sick everybody knows it and you’ll get phone calls asking if you need anything people coming by offering to help it’s totally different. I would never live in California again people are just rude and they don’t care it’s all about me me me and that’s it.
Let it all out!! Much agreed. It sucks to be the shock absorber, but if you keep being your sweet self it WILL have a positive effect ❤️ Have you listened to any old school Garth Brooks yet? He has a lot of good classics but Shameless stands out to me.
@Tasha Jackson Reactions If you ever come to Kentucky you will see hospitality at its best. Also you belong the people acting that way is the ones that don’t. I know racism is unreal but I can swear on everything I love…I’m not. I’m ashamed of the world the way it’s is right now. My race isn’t at its best. But you are amazing your reactions to certain songs gives me a view into the person you are. Stay strong and someday hopefully we will all be United again. Don’t give up hope…there’s still good people out there though they are few and far between. I know this video is old but I really hope you read my message. I will always support the good in the world no matter your race, religion, sexuality so I promise there’s still some of us left in this world.

I like Lori McKenna’s version of the song. She is the one that wrote the song!
❤
I'm with you bless you
We love you Tasha ! 💜😊
🥰❤️
Completely understand - born and raised in Myrtle Beach - lots have moved here, too. I swear I have never heard so many car horns in my life. It's like GET A GRIP, people, we are ALL trying to get somewhere. But I still make sure to let people merge in to just try to let some of it rub off. People who mock manners and teaching manners to children as we do in the South just do not get the difference it makes in every day life to everyone in the community.
What you said is true. The great country songs(hundres of them) have a real life story to tell. It is mostly from the heart experiences.
❤
"CHEROKEE FIDDLE" JOHNNY LEE, This is a song from the movie Urban cowboy
I feel you, I want to move away from people because of the craziness, I think a lot of people feel this way. This song is definitely needed
A few great country songs. Alan Jackson "Remember When, and "Daddy let me Drive. Trace Adkins "Just Fishin and "Your Gonna Miss This".
Hey Tasha! Hello from Canada! You said everything when you said 'Jesus Christ!'' He is The Way! The Truth, The Life! He never changes His Love toward us! This world is going down but He sustains the universe! I His Love is eternally present if we want Him!
Tasha that was amazing
You ain't alone, ma'am.✝️🇺🇸🤠
I know what you're saying. Love ya sister. Love this song.
Take care.
Hey, "down home" for me is western NC---Howdy, neighbor; nothin' like Appalachia!!!
@@catwhisperer9489 Hey there back neighbor! Hope you and yours are doing well! Much ❤
❤
Now those "don't call me ma'm" people are moving here in droves...Definitely bizzaro land lol
@@tashajackson That's very true Tasha! 😂
I love this reaction and I love you. I would love to come to Atlanta with my girlfriend and buy dinner for all of us ..
Tennessee loves you baby girl.
I’m a small town guy. Actually I live in the sticks, but work in a small town. For the most part, mostly good people. There are exceptions. I couldn’t imagine living in a city. I don’t even like to visit big cities.
Nice job on this one, T.
Love the song love your content and you're very lovely
This is a wonderful song. Now if everyone would live it. I know we can;t be perfect but we can try.
I hold the door for people all the time, some people rush past you without a thank you. They act like it was my job to hold the door for them.
such a good song
This world is getting crazy , I love my little town in southern Oklahoma , hate going into the city because of some people being rude so I can relate to you
I understand your emotions. You need to find a place where your soul is at peace and you find kindness.
you've talked about ppl being asshats these days in another video a while back. Stay strong Ms. Tasha. There are still some of us in the world that were raised right... still holding the door open, saying please and thank you. I promise we do exist.
Many Colored coat by Dolly Parten We need this kind of songs we need now.
Baby y'all come to Tennessee. In my town we will love you up.
This song always get me too Tasha! Much love to you & T ✌️
I'm from South Ga.❤
Alot of Tim Mcgraw songs tell a story hes the best at telling those stories in his music listen to If your reading this
Let it all out!! Much agreed. It sucks to be the shock absorber, but if you keep being your sweet self it WILL have a positive effect ❤️
Have you listened to any old school Garth Brooks yet?
You’re so sweet and pretty.I can tell you’re a kind person!
