18 Hour Flight Layover Exploring Lisbon

I want to share our 18+ hour overnight layover experience in Lisbon, Portugal. Upon arrival, we took an Uber to our hotel at the Memoria Lisboa and immediately started exploring the surrounding areas. We did not have a set itinerary in place other than our dinner reservations at the Restaurante Fama d’Alfama at 8pm; but we ran with it and had such a great time.
We walked Lisbon's distinctive cobblestone streets, indulged in some local favorite cuisines, sipped on port wine and local beer, attended a Catholic mass, admired the architecture and rich history, listened to authentic Portuguese Fado music, crashed the annual St. Anthony festival, and soaked in the stunning views of this beautiful city from the São Jorge Castle. Lisbon did not disappoint and thank you for watching.
