Good luck little helicopter We're all going to cheer you on
Awe so cute the two of them together in a photo, awe
Such a well detailed selfie and amazing view of Perserverance. Great piece of technology
A place where human won’t survive outside without the protective gear. But still we hope to build something sustainable for future generations. These scientists are rightly in the shoes of all our greatest inventor we talked about in our books. In future these people will be praised by everyone.
The camera is located on the robotic arm next to the front left wheel. You can see its shadow in the lower left corner of the picture. It has two nubs sticking out in a forward direction. The arm itself has been photo-shopped out.
Bahahaha
Thanks! I was wondering how this was shot.
No human has ever left earths atmosphere.
True that nor has any rocket!! They can orbit to a point though they can’t leave it without burning up!
They think the whole world believes their trickery
Tiny ingenuity!😀
Engineering a marvel, however the clarity of the video is simply phenomenal..To be blessed to see Man's first step on to the Moon the oogle at a piece of equipment taking selfies from another planet. Is so surreal mind boggling that to feel like a little kid seems so normal. Complete with ooooo and ahhhhh and gasps 💝💯🛸🚀🎀🎇🎊🎉
Who's the camera man I don't see the arm attached to the rover taking the selfie?
Was thinking the very same ,cant see the arm, pole whatever.
It's not an actual selfie
Several images were assembled to create a selfie like image
John Carter took the photo for them....
Same confusion here..
@peter burry yes I know right
Cool, selfie with Ingenuity, Perseverance, nice imaging work, thank for sharing.
I can see the dust is already piling up on Ingenuity's solar panels. To bad Percy want equipped with a condensed air puffer to occasionally clean it off. 😆
wow very nice amaizng great
What took the pic, if were looking at BOTH ingenuity and perseverance!?!
an alien was passing by and they asked for a picture together
An arm that's connected to the perseverance rover its just edited out
Where is the structure of the mechanical arm that holds the camera to make the selfie that I am not seeing? weird! ????
Who's the lucky cameraman working on Mars taking pictures of all these devices ? What is going on up there ?
YEEEAAA!? WHAT TOOK THE PIC??
@@ryandavis4448 the rover
Existence of strong winds or are they just vortex? Clean rocks on its surface! Save our planet and forget about Mars!
Amazing they can survive -90C temp at night
Was it necessary to Photoshop the camera arm out of the pictures?...
'stiched together' so photo shopped.
Si será verdad que están en marte porque parece como si alguna persona estuviera gravado
How is it taking a selfie?. I mean I see the picture and it's an awsome picture but i dont see any arm or anything that would be extended out to take a picture? Wheres this camera located?
How are these 2 pictures together taken, who took the video??
The rover has cameras on it's robotic arm that it uses for these images.
Same question who took it
@@ksc2464 The robot arm took multiple pictures from slightly different angles, and this image was compiled from the images that didn't show the arm in the way.
Some one took the picture. He is standing there right behind that rover.
The rover's arm took the pictures. The only reason you can't see the arm is because it's outside the camera's field of view. Think about the selfies you take with your phone; optimally, when taking selfies, you position yourself so that your arm doesn't show up in the picture. Think of the rover's arm as like the ultimate selfie stick. The best selfie sticks are the ones where you can't see the stick in the photo, making it appear as though you had your own photographer.
That said, bits of the arm do show up in the individual images, but the team at NASA that develops these images most often edits those bits out because they figure it would be even more confusing to have random pieces of the arm showing than to omit them entirely. However, if you look at some of the selfies of Curiosity, you can see the cast shadow of the arm on the ground. So, looks eerily like someone else took the photo, but nope, just follows the same logic as any other selfie.
Ok you two, say "cheese!"
bright day at Mars!
What took the picture of them both?.......I don't see any robotic arm extension to hold a camera...........?
Multiple exposures were taken from different positions. The robotic arm that captured the images was edited out and replaced with background images.
I hope they have an arm with a little brush on it, to clean the dust off the solar panel. So the helicopter can change properly.
It's designed to work fine with a bit of dust on it. They said in a Q&A that they were getting the amount of power they expected with the dust so it'll be fine.
Beautiful
Who took the selfie?
Am wondering the same
It is done by multiple images combined together to make one. Images are taken by perseverance with different moves and then processed to look like selfie.
This is impossible, there is no conection between roover and selfie camera
It’s because it’s edited out
What is the power source? Not much in the way of solar panels visible....
Perserverance runs off an internal nuclear power source.
how did it take a picture? where's the arm?
A regular hardware store full of widgets. I've heard that the helicopter might be left when it finishes is main mission --- to see if flight is factually possible on Mars. I'm pretty sure it has occurred to some that as it can be recharged via sunlight, it might be used to cruse here and there and then maybe pass along stored photos, and maybe get instructions, through overhead satellites to go not over there but over here? Just a thought.
who photographed them both?
Fake who's holding camera?

all images from the rover are pieced together to make it look normal for us
i wonder what the small black objects in the sky above the hills are?
Nice..beautiful
Who took the picture
Where is this photo camara.i can't understand
Its fake
maybe in Nevada
? ? ? I can't understand too. Também não entendi como foi feita essa "selfie".
@@niloofar83 0:06 then why we can't see part of the arm where the camera is mounted. It's as if the picture is taken by a separate spacecraft (eg: a drone)
@@stefanosilvagni484 I think so the picture was taken by a NASA technician during the testing of the 2 spacecrafts in Nevada.
Anyone tried looking hard for Life on Mars in this video?
USA No 1
Par quoi a été pris la photo ?
Just wow
Can I be as rude and ask a stupid question but if the camera isn't as obviously it isn't attached to the vehicle and the drone is on the floor who or what is taking the film just asking🤔
This history in the making is just awesome and mind blowing. Just hope that no Mars strong winds will turn turtle ingenuity and then Nasa will have a problem.
Thanks to NASA
Uaaaauuu ! E' emocionante !
Can someone explain how they took the pics of the whole rover?
Who took the selfie just curious 🧐
i want to see is live selfie flying
Mars helicopter ? Cool value = 10, scientific value = 0....Mars microscope ? Cool value = 0, scientific value = 10.
Just like the curiosities selfie how is it taking a selfie when the video is showing it zooming in and out and you could see the whole rover in the frame so where is the camera who’s taking the selfie? I just don’t understand how??
Think it’s a composite of many images so doesn’t show the arm extended.
How the temperature their?
Pinky en cerebro he can clean the robot with the drone

What is going there ??? who is taking picture ?? tell me
Perserverance's robotic arm has a camera, which took a number of pictures which were stitched together. they just used the shots that didn't have the arm I the way when possible.
How much did the selfie stick cost 🤔😂
The camera of this photo seems to detach from Perseverance. So my question is - Is this photo real or fake ?
Same as a GoPro selfie camera, the boom is airbrushed out.
They edited the arm out.
But who filmed all this, as there seems nothing connected with the rover and the camera from which this video is shot by🙄
Its like when you take a selfie and edit out your hand
If you look a the rover carefully you will notice it is missing its robotic arm, the one which took the selfie
This photo s can't understand
Where is this photo s Camara
Its fake
Calibration colour work not true , mars not red planet Mars blue white pink grey it's true
Is it mars

Wow. Where in the middle east is this photo taken? I want to go there. Its beautiful!

Whose taking the picture there’s no arm holding a camera anything they have a camera they just hovers on its own. Interesting you guys
It's the camera on the robotic arm on Perserverance. They took a lot of pictures and combined them using the ones without the arm in the way.
@@Adam-lw9il Really so it’s an invisible arm that takes the pictures that’s pretty cool I didn’t understand that invisible arms to take the pictures
@@Adam-lw9il Use your common sense everybody that takes pictures on earth do you see him holding a wine toua where is the one and this one sorry not believing
@@michaelfarley2223 Editing out selfie stick style things has been a thing for several years now, it's not some magic impossible thing. The camera took multiple photos which were combined together to make the end result, and they used the portions of the photos without the arm in the way when possible. You can literally look up "invisible selfie stick" and an explanation pops up instantly.

A lesson in not necessarily believing what your eyes see. Must be fake because there's no arm extension, right?
