The use of A New Wind For Tomorrow from 0:59 - 1:05 is so good. This game didn't remix/use as many leitmotifs from older songs in comparison to some of the last few games, which I feel made the moments where a familiar tune did show up a lot more special.
Given that it is an entirely new world, I imagine the only time they reused themes from previous games were for the elements Kirby fans are already accustomed to - things like Planet Popstar, familiar foes, Kirby's home away from home... And the one that gets me the most: the leitmotif of Another Dimension showing up in the postgame's final level prior to the boss level. Now THAT is some scary stuff, especially when you read up on all the figure lore.
I did notice some songs that sounded very similar to older songs at times, which may be a subtle hint toward my theory that Popstar's inhabitants were originally from the new world and are the ones who abandoned the beast pack
Goodness, I legitimately cried a little when it seemed like Elfilin had died... thank the stars he's okay! Also, I love the usage of the Staff Roll theme from Kirby's Dream Land here.
What that would make your version of Kirby did of happiness, considering the fact that in "Kirby forgot the land" Bandana Waddle Dee had to threaten him to get him to save him.
i think elfilin’s leitmotif is in the first half of the track, only remixed. thanks to the music team on this game that made a melody that works well as a gentle theme for a gentle character, as well as a determined theme for a bold sacrifice
Am I the only one who never thought Elfilin was the villain the whole time? I was kind of sad when this scene happened but I always thought Elfilin was good until people started saying Elfilin was bad for creating Fecto Elfilis.
@@minecrafter3448 Even when writing the original comment I’d listened to the whole OST. You shouldn’t make assumptions about people because they don’t fit your own opinions or worldviews.
@@FedoraKirb everything else really just far outclasses it in scale, scope, theme, and coordination. This doesn’t even approach top 50 for me, even though it would make top 5 of most games

I cried here thinking Elfilin was going to die. So glad he didn’t-
FR I THOUGHT HE WAS GONE FOR GOOD
I was seriously not expecting to get emotional while playing a Kirby game.
Yeah, they really went and pulled a Morgana from Persona 5 on us, making us think Elfilin died and then coming back later. Not cool, HAL! D'X
I have a feeling that you guys have played at least one modern paper mario game
@@jclkaytwoThis is such a funny reply because all but too Paper Mario games have made me cry

I dont really handle suspense, which is why i saw the spoilers

...Says the one who made Kirby cheer when he made his Paper Mario Sacrifice!
Finally, someone who gets me!
This scene made everyone feel bad for thinking Elfilin was the villain.
Well you’re wrong, the real villain what we see it was it half, Fecto Forgo.
I honestly thought he was going to straight up die in this scene💀
it made me feel bad for getting so emotionally attached to him
I trusted elfilin and I didn't know he came back,I thought he was dead intill after the credits

This is one of my top 5 favorite tracks in the game for so many reasons.
I guarantee you haven’t listened to the whole thing, this game has the greatest ost of any game ever
@@minecrafter3448 I have. I love this tune, as well as the whole soundtrack. Maybe two years later not in the top 5 but definitely still up there.

The music in Kirby is already legendary, but the strings in particular sounded amazing.
kinda wish they pulled a modern pokemon mystery dungeon and not let you see elfilin again until after post game
Ladies and gentlemen...the reason why Clawroline is so popular.

The name sounds like a Touhou song
literally! just put a ~ between the two titles and you wouldn't be able to distinguish it from touhou
pretty normal for kirby music tbh
I really thought Elfilin had died. It would be more climactic
At least we got more Elfilin out of it!
@BlueToadFan913 I suppose...
(Also you missed Cave's stream yesterday)
