    Thanks for sharing this. excellent..they opened with Trouble. Met Orville Davis at a Starz concert at the Palladium around this time (formerly of Hydra).

    Whew!😮‍💨 I remember being a 70's teenager and a concert ticket to see J. Giles at Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan was only $8.50. Gosh! What a great generation I grew up in!!!

    Saw Rex open for Rush at The Dome Arena in Rochester, N.Y. December 1977! They blew the roof off the joint!!

    I saw Rex that same fall with Ted (the middle act on the bill was the great Leslie West). Excellent show!

    I saw this show twice in 1977 I shot photos, I gave Rex Smith copies of the photos, the up close shot of Rex in red outfit I shot , it's right before the song list sheet of paper

    Love it! I saw Rex twice at the San Diego Sports Arena. I would love to hear the complete show!

    Saw them October 30 of the previous year with Ted and Montrose@ the Hampton Coliseum

    I was at that show but don't recall who replaced Skynyrd

      Starz was a better overall band but Rex was a star......

      @@steveludwig4200 Rex was better looking and more 'marketable' - and a lot of his success was on Broadway Musicals.
      I think Michael Lee had one of the best voices in Hard Rock at that time - I wish that he had stayed in the game, I think he, and STARZ, would have had greater success, if they had stayed together for the L.A. Glam Rock Boom of the mid-1980s.
      Interestingly, Michael Lee looks nothing like Rex - with that chipped tooth, looked like Steven Tyler's little brother.
