lovely... as a person who cooks indian food I love your addition of cardamom powder. I can just taste how beautiful it'll taste. I shall make it next week. thank you
Your videos are very informative and easy to understand. I am a newbie at canning and this is helpful. When I was younger I watched my mom make apple jelly and butter. I am saving your videos to watch over. Thanks for sharing with us. God bless you and thanks again. I’ll be watching for more of your videos.
Must it be stirred constantly? Mine took FOREVER to thicken, like 45-50 minutes after sugar added, then another 40-50 minutes after adding spices, and it never did get as thick as yours. (I’m at sea level). But MAN , is it good!
What kind of apple peeler/corer/slicer do you have? I need that in my life! lol Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! I know I'm going to like this!
Thank you so much for watching. That peeler is amazing. This will be my next recipe thank you I do not know there is a difference in sugar I will check and see what kind I have thank you, have you ever measured to see how much applesauce you have for this spice recipe I plan on making a huge roaster of apple sauce for applebutter thank you
Most store brand sugars are beet sugar. Brands like domino and c&h are pure cane sugar. We choose to use pure cane sugar because beet sugar is typically gmo and we try to avoid gmo things but beet sugar will work just fine in it. I've never measured that. I usually just go by the amount of apples and that sometimes makes more or less sauce depending on the size of the apples.
Hello again 🤗…well, I tried making this apple butter and I think I went wrong somewhere along the way 😬. I used honey crisp apples (24 medium-very large size). I followed your directions; 1 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar…it produced so much liquid 😱. I waited about 2 hrs for the liquid to evaporate before adding the sugar. From there it took another 3 hrs with the sugar to thicken back up again. By then my mix had begun getting dark. Any recommendations?
Honey crisp apples are very juice and produce a lot more juice when cooked. It would take a lot longer to cook down all that juice, and you would have to cook it at a lower temperature because the large amount of sugars in honey crisp. As long as the darkened mixture doesn't taste burnt, then it is just natural darkening, and it will not matter because the spices make it very dark
Can you write in description and your ratios Like how many apples approx How much sugar And your measurements on spices and apple vinegar Just approx plz
Ok so will i still have to constantly so the stirring etc. sorry really want to try your recipe but all the other ones I found mainly were using a slow cooler.

Allspice is a spice on its own, it doesn’t contain cloves, but TASTES mostly like a combination of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper

If the trees and apples have been sprayed with pesticides, you cannot use the peels.
Surprised you didn’t add brown sugar
I USE ALLSPICE AND IT DOES HAVE CLOVES, JUST IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW. NOW I USE APPLE PIE SPICE.
I don’t like cloves in nothing
